Content Science

When it comes to content there is only one way to go.

Your content needs to be Unique, Fresh, and Good Quality, NOT PLR or even re-spun PLR. It can
be very tempting to use PLR for your websites but what happens is you end up trying to make your
content fit your keywords and by the time you've done this, turned it into a good article, and made it
unique you could have written a much better unique article.

Now, regardless of whether you're outsourcing or writing yourself there are some rules that need to
be followed. In this section i'm going to show you how to create perfectly optimized articles that
WILL rank for your target keyword as well as other related keywords.

NOTE: If you intend to outsource your article writing you still need to read this section because i'm
going to show you how to get the most from your writers.

I'm also going to show you where you can get hand-written, high quality unique articles on ANY
keyword you choose for only $5.52 per article! (If you signed up to Super Apprentice then I suggest
you use the inside team for your website articles and this additional service for promotional
articles).

Keyword Density

There has been a lot of debate on the science of content. Keyword density is one topic that has
differing opinions. Generally it's considered that keyword density should be around 1-3%. Keyword
density is the number of times your target keyword appears in your article in relation to the number
of words in your article. If your article is 500 words long and your keyword appears 5 times then
your keyword density is 1%.

What my experiences have shown is that although it plays a part, you SHOULDN'T worry too
much about keyword density. At the same time – Don't keyword stuff either. If your keyword
appears in every other sentence then search engine algorithms will raise a red flag and more than
likely not rank your site. There's no need to over-think or over-complicate things here.

● Have your target keyword appear in the first and last paragragh of your article.
● In the body of your article, have your target keyword appear NOT MORE than once every
hundred words.

With respect to keyword density that's it. Follow this rule and you'll be fine.

BUT, keyword density is just 1 aspect. There are other things you need to pay attention to when
writing (or outsourcing) your articles.

LSI Keywords

The next thing we want to look at is LSI phrases. There has been a great deal of talk by some
famous marketers about the value of LSI keywords in relation to whether they actually help you
rank for your target keyword. For our purposes this talk is irrelevant, and i'll tell you why:

Until recently, it has long been believed that having relevantly themed (LSI) words within your
article, you will rank higher for your main target keyword. Whether this is true or not is beside the
point. The fact is, that by using related keywords on your pages, you will rank for other keywords
that you hadn't initially targeted. This is important because you will often find that up to (and
sometimes even over) 50% of your traffic will come from un-targeted keywords.

A perfect example of this is one of the sites I showed you in the “Introduction video”.

Although I am ranked number one for the term “mercer infection” in Google.com, this wasn't my
target keyword. Take a look at that page again and you will see that the page name is actually:

symptomsofmrsainfection.php

This is because I was targeting the phrase “symptoms of MRSA”, but because I used the words
“mercer” and “infection”, Google (and Bing.com) could see what my page was really about. It gave
my article depth, and it showed that my article was relevant not just to my target keyword, but to
similar, relevant phrases that a reader or web-surfer would search for.

So now we've established the importance of LSI, how do you find the right LSI phrases to include
within your article?

First of all, note that if your article is well-written and based tightly around your niche, many of
these LSI phrases will appear naturally in any case, and without the writer having to try and fit them
in. That being said – Don't rely on this. You WILL need to decide BEFORE writing your article,
which LSI phrases you're going to use. Any others that naturally appear will be an added bonus.

Now would be a good time to use your Project Worksheet.

Keep a seperate worksheet for each site you build.

You now simply need to repeat a couple of the steps you performed in your original research, along
with some other important ones. Try not to go too overboard with this step. Your articles are only
going to be around 500 words in length so there's little point in collecting 100 keywords. Just 10 –
20 relevant LSI phrases are fine.

If you're using Nichebot, then the first stage of collecting your LSI phrases couldn't be easier. Just
head on back to the “1-Click LSI” tool and type in your target keyword. I know we used this before
for digging into our niche, but this time you're using it for your specific keyword. From the results
returned just pick out those keywords that are most relevantly themed to your target keyword.
Content Science
If you're using free tools then there are still lot's of options but my favorite is here:
Go to “www.quintura.com”. Type in your target keyword in the search box, then look over to the
left-hand side of your screen. Here you'll be given an instant tag cloud of the most relevant LSI
words for your target keyword. You can hover over any of the ones you consider most relevant and
you'll be given even more.

This next step is a bit cheeky and you're competitors won't thank you for it but hey, all's fair in love
and war and it's a perfectly legitimate form of research. Now, the investment in your keyword tool
really starts to pay-off. Don't worry, as always there is a free method but it won't give you quite as
much detail.

Nichebot users:
This next tool you're going to discover in Nichebot is a real gem, and a BIG time-saver.
You will remember that you have already found the top 5 competitors for your target keyword in the
previous module. Now you're going to do a little spying.

Under the “Deep Digging Tools” section you'll see the “SEMRush Total Espionage”. Click on this
and in the “Enter Domain” box, type in the URL (full URL not just root domain), check the box
next to (2), and click “analyze my competitor”. After a few moments you'll see some great info!

Focus on the organic results section and here you'll not only find all the keywords that your
competitor is ranking for, but you'll see their...
ter
•Search Engine Ranking Position for Each Keyword
•Average Monthly Searches for that Keyword
•Estimated CPC
•(I love this one) – Percentage of Traffic Competitor is Receiving for that keyword

Now you can easily pick out the best phrases for your LSI keywords.

NOTE: You may be wondering at this point why I didn't direct you here to dig out your main target
keywords for your site. It's a fair question but with a simple answer.
Had you used this tool for digging out your keywords originally, you could easily have missed some
great keywords that your competitor had failed to target.

FREE OPTION:
With the free option you won't be able to see all of the info above but you can still check out your
competitors in two ways.

First of all go back to Google.com and type in your target keyword again. This time click on each of
your competitors in turn and perform the following steps below, (If you've built SEO'd sites before
you've mostly likely done this a number of times).

Once you have your competitors URL loaded in your browser, right click anywhere on the page,
(not on image or video) and select “view source” from the drop-down menu. This will show you the
coding for the page you are viewing.
Content Science
Look for the line that begins “<meta name="keywords". If it's not there don't worry. This means
that your competitor hasn't bothered tell the search engines which keywords are relevant to the web-
page, (this is fairly common – As search engines have become more sophisticated, the weight that
meta tags give your page overall is less than it used to be. That doesn't mean YOU should skip it.
Every little helps, and less sophisticated search engines still rely heavily on Meta tags).

So, once you,ve found that line you will be able to see all of the keywords your competitor is
targeting. This will also give you a good indicator of how well that page is optimised. If your seeing
1 word phrases that aren't related to the topic then it's a sign of a poorly optimized site. If they are
well optimised then grab these keywords and add them to your LSI list.

Now you can take this one step further. By checking your competitors keyword density, you'll be
able to see all the LSI phrases within their content.

Head on over to http://www.webconfs.com/keyword-density-checker.php and type in your

competitors URL.

You'll not only see a visual representation of the keywords found but also a list with count and
density % underneath.

Now you know exactly what your competitors are upto, you obviously know what's working for
them, and why. Grab these keyword too, and add them to your LSI list.

By the time you've completed Your LSI research for your content you may well have too many LSI
phrases. They're all good, so it's down to your discretion at this point to narrow down the list.

Quick Recap:

•You now have great target Keywods

•You now have Great LSI phrases to put in your articles
•Now it's time to get your content

Creating/Outsourcing A Pefect article:

Deciding whether or not to write your own articles really comes down to Time Vs. Budget. If you
are able to outsource then I HIGHLY recommend it. Writing articles on a subject you may have no
interest in isn't fun (for me), and can be really time-consuming. That being said, if you do enjoy
writing that's great, go for it.
Content Science
If you don't already have access to writers then finding a good one at an affordable price is tough.
The few good ones out there that are timely and professional are in demand, it can also be hit and
miss, take ages to find a good writer, and then it's even harder to hold onto them.

In my opinion there's only 2 choices here. If you joined Super-Apprentice then they have their own
team of trained writers who are very good. Otherwise there is only one answer in my opinion.

My solution: - Need-an-Article.com

If you think i'm hyping up this site for the affiliate commissions think again! I can promise you
there's far more profitable affiliate programs out there.

I have used this servcice more times than I care to count now and every article has been spot on,
and would have cost me upwards of $20 anywhere else. The only catch is it's a membership – but
this is only $10 per month and in my opinion its an absolute bargain. Once you've signed up, a basic
article will cost you a fixed price of $5.52. Also, there are also lots of other content writing options
which may come in handy to you at a later stage.

So here's the rules for your perfect article.

Title:
Your title needs to be compelling and draw the reader in. It also needs to contain your target
keyword and if possible (don't force it) include 1 or 2 of your LSI phrases.

Here's what I mean:

“80% Off 10 Best Selling Anti-Virus Packages In 3 Simple Steps”

“Information on downloading anti-virus packages”

Now if you were looking to buy anti-virus software and saw these 2 titles in Google, which one
would you be most likely to click? The first one right? There's a few reasons for this.

•First, the title is specific. It tells the reader exactly what they're going to find if they click on this
link.
•Second – Numbers work. It has long been proven that having numbers in a title can dramatically
increase the desire to click.

Other things to note:

•First letter in each word is Capitalized. This is simply considered good practice for an article title.
•The title also contains the words “best and “selling”. On their own they mean very little but as LSI
phrases I now have the chance of ranking for phrases like “best anti virus software”, “best-selling
antivirus”, “best anti virus packages” as well as my target phrase “anti-virus packages”

You see how these little changes can have a huge impact on not just your rankings but your traffic.
Content Science
Now for your article body:

•Make sure your target keyword appears in the first and last paragraph of your article.
•Make sure your target keyword appears NOT MORE than once every 100 words.
•Keep paragraphs short and where possible, use sub-headings.
•Sprinle your LSI phrases in rather than force them, (if you can't get them in without forcing, better
to leave them out entirely).

If you're outsourcing this then it's important to convey what you want to your writer, but be
pleasant. Also, it's a good idea to give your writer some resources to research from. These could just
be other articles on the Internet or sites about your topic.

Here's an example of what I would usually ask for when requesting an articles.

“Hey guys, i'm looking for an article about 'Anti-Virus Packages'. I do have some
specifics but they're fairly straight-forward. Please could you try and fit the
phrase “anti-virus packages” in the first and last paragraph and occasionally
throughout (but not more than once every 100 words). Also, I've included some
related phrases and it would be great if you could sprinkle some of these words
around to, (don't worry about forcing them in). Here's a couple of places you can
research if you need to. Thanks guys.”

By being pleasant you can almost guarantee a superior article. If the writer likes you they will sub-
consiously want to please you, and therefore spend more time getting it write. If you're rude or just
give a list of hard-set rules that must be followed then they won't be so bothered about the end-
result.

Now you have the makings of a perfect article. While you're waiting for it to be returned (or after
you've written it yourself), you can begin work on your site layout.

Let's get moving on with the next section. Now it's time to get your domain name, your hosting (if
you don't have any already), and start building your site.
