ICE SERVICING OF AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AT
TON PUBLIC HOSPITAL/ VICTORIA JUBILEE HOSPITAL
CONDENSER
1. Spray and wash coils with recommended cleaners
2. Inspect and clear contactor termivals
3. Inspect compressor terminals and adjust
4. Check isolator switches and adjust
5. Check fan rotation and air discharge
6. Inspect refrigerant system for leaks and cther minor defects
7. Check casting for rust, repair and paint
8. kaspect pipe strap brackets and holding bolts
9. Check for unusual noises and correet
10, Check and record operating pressures
EVAPORATOR™
1. Remove and wash filters
Brush and clean coils and fans wheels
Clean diffusers and grills
Inspect blower wheel bearing for defects
Remove and clean drain pans

11, Adjust ait grills for proper distribution
12, Check motor rotation and motor speed
13, Remove and wash blower wheels
14, Check screws, bolts and brackets; Adjust or replace
Grease s beatings
Inspect pil itch and adjust
17. Check electronic circuit board for defects, clean and record supply and operating
voltages
18. Check and provide estimate, on first service, all work necessary to return unit to

Inspect air filters. Clean or replace if clogged
2, Lubricate fan bearings
(Check bearing locking setscrews and other setscrews for proper tightness. Bearing
traces must be secure
Lubricate fan motors
Align sheaves and check level of shafts,
Check fan belt Adjust if belts slip
Inspect coils for dirt build-up. Clean fins if airflow is clogged, Check for leaks
REFRIGERATING COMPRESSORS
1. Check suction and discharge pressures
2. Check oil level in crankcase
3. Check crankcase sweating
4. Check for oil leaks
5. Check for unusual knocks or noises

|. Check high-low pressure cut-off setting
MOTORS
1. Check motor for bearing temperatures, noise and vibration rotation and
accumulation of dirt in air passage
2, Oil or grease bearings if required
3. Check motor sheave or coupling to see that they are secured to motor shaft
4, Check to be sure that motor comes up to speed promptiy
5. Check voltage and amperage at motor
EXPANSION, SOLENOID, RELIEF VALVES
1. Check all valves for evidence of sticking
2. Check all pipe connections for leaks
3. Check expansions valve bulb to see that it has good contact with suction kine
4, Check operation of all solenoid valves
