CHARTER OF DEMANDS
PREAMBLE
The structure of Pay scales presently in vogue was effective from 01.04.2014
and therefore, Revision thereof has become due from 01.04.2019.
1. SUSPENSION OF SUPERVISOR
In the recent period there has been an incident reported between supervisor
and employee, but the employee has been immediately suspended but no
action has been taken against the supervisor thus we demand that employee
should also be reinstated immediately or the supervisor should be suspended
till investigation is over.
2. PAY SCALES
I The existing pay scales shall be linked to All India Consumer Price Index
2944 (Base 1960 = 100), Index average of January 2019 to February 2019 in
such a manner that:-
Also the salaries currently being paid are 15% lower than the industry
average and a hike of minimum 20% in base salaries is required for all
workers(full time and part time).

4. OVERTIME ALLOWANCE
As per the current law, all full time workers working beyond the 8 hour shift
(due to any reason) are entitled to overtime wages and most of the part time
employees are doing the same work thus should be simultaneously given the
overtime wages at prescribed rates
5. MEDICAL BENEFITS
All employees and Retirees shall be entitled to free and full Medical expenses
for self and their dependents. A Comprehensive Medical Policy covering
domiciliary treatment and such other requirements of treatment without
exclusion of pre-existing disease be given free of cost to the employees and
their dependents with availability of doctor in near vicinity.
The facility of free medical check-up shall be given once in two years to the
employees and their spouses on attaining the age of –50 years.
CMD’s Ex-gratia Medical Relief shall be increased to Rs.20 lacs without any
restriction. Ex-gratia Medical Relief shall be extended
All part Time Employees shall be regularized as full time employees and all
the benefits including Pension shall be extended to them.
7. LEAVE FACILITIES
1. Casual Leave:
· In a calendar year, an employee shall be granted Casual Leave for
a maximum of –15 days.
· Unutilized casual leave shall be converted into sick leave on full pay.
2. Earned Leave: The Earned Leave shall accrue at the rate of one day for
eleven days of duty and can be accumulated up to maximum 300 days.
The leave shall be granted –7 days minimum and 180 days maximum.
8. MEDICAL INSURANCE
Currently this is provided to full time employees but the benefit should be
immediately extended to part time employees as well.
9. COMPANY SCHOOLS
The basic prerequisites like good faculty are missing in company run schools
thus hiring of new teachers should be undertaken or employees should be

provided with adequate funds for their children to go to better quality
government run schools.
All employee related issues are currently being restored by Ms. Schmidt alone
but Mr. Karim Faizal should be onsulted for any such decision and should be
taken in as a member of Grieviance Redressal Forum with immediate effect.
AWF reserves the right to amend, alter, add and / or delete any part
of charter of demands as may be found necessary.

upward revision of wages and other service conditions for Class III & IV
employees.
You are well aware that the present structure of Pay-scales has been brought
into effect as from 1st August 2002 and therefore, the revision thereof has
become due as from 1st August 2007.
AWF, as a majority, responsible and responsive trade Union will take all steps
to ensure a speedy negotiated settlement.
