Hiro, un brillante adolescente, actualmente sólo le interesan las peleas de

robots en las que aunque gane, son ilegales y termina siempre en problemas
con la ley, Orientado por su querido hermano mayor Tadashi, Busca como
llevar esas habilidades por el buen camino , lo lleva a conocer su universidad,
y al conocer el trabajo que éste y sus amigos desarrollan en el laboratorio,
entre ellos un simpático robot enfermero llamado Baymax

Hiro posteriormente conoce a los amigos de su hermano: la genia de la

química Honey Lemon, la ruda y veloz Go Go Tomago, el ordenado Wasabi y
el amante de los cómics Fred, además también el profesor de Tadashi, el
Profesor Callaghan. Hiro cambia su parecer de usar su genio ahora para poder
ingresar al Instituto Tecnológico de San Fransokyo (universidad de Tadashi).
Tadashi le sugiere a Hiro presentar un proyecto para la feria de ciencias, el
crea unos microbots que van controlados por un transmisor conectado a la
cabeza. el millonario Allistair Krei le ofrece que le de su proyecto para

Al cabo de un tiempo Hiro nota que uno de sus Microbots sigue activo y en
modo de broma le dice a Baymax que averigüe donde intenta ir el
Microbot, Hiro inicia una larga persecusión hasta llegar a una bodega
abandonada y se encuentran con los Microbots de Hiro siguiendo las órdenes
de un enmascarado con una máscara Kabuki quien los ataca y ellos logran
escapar por una ventana. Hiro descarga un programa de ayuda emocional y
llama a los amigos de Hiro para ayudarlo, mientras que éste le descarga un
segundo chip que contiene artes marciales para volverlo más capáz de
encontrar al sospechoso además de equiparlo con una armadura. Hiro prepara
el plan de ir a muelle donde se dice que se encuentra el de la mascara
desafortunadamente resultan huyendo y escondiéndosen en la casa de fred y
deducen que el hombre Kabuki es Allistair Krei, quien para vengarse de Hiro,
se robó los Microbots creando el incendio, por lo que Hiro decide equipar a
sus amigos con armaduras y trajes basados en sus talentos y entrenan en la
manera de como quitarle la máscara que controlaba a los Microbot a aquel
hombre.
Baymax resulta escaneando la ciudad donde encuentra rastros de kabuki en
una isla apastada de la ciudad se dirigen con sus amigos a examinar y
averiguar. Al llegar allí encuentra unas grabaciones de una chica que es
lanzada a un tele transportador donde falla y resulta destruyendoce el portal y
dejando a la chica en otra dimensión, pero son sorprendidos por el hombre
enmascarado, el grupo lucha contra este para quitarle la máscara; finalmente
Hiro logra hacerlo, revelando que no era Krei, sino el supuesto difunto
Profesor Callaghan, hiro le dice a baymax que destruya a el profesor callaghan
pero con ayuda de sus compañeros logran que esto no suceda y ayudan a que
callaghan escape, hiro enfadado trata de seguir a callaghan pero sin resultados
y por las fallas que tenia su robot, vuelve a su casa a arreglar a baymax donde
se da cuenta de diferentes videos de su hermano que lo hacen caer encuenta de
no matar a callaghan, los seis analizan el video, al hacerlo se dan cuenta de
que la piloto de pruebas del teletransportador era la hija de Callaghan,
deduciendo que éste hará lo que sea para destruir a Krei.

En ese instante se lleva a cabo una exposición de Krei Tech, lo que Callaghan
aprovecha para atacarlo, levantando sobre el edificio coorporativo de las
empresas de Krei con la ayuda de los Microbots, el otro portal con errores que
quedó de la explosión e intenta echar la empresa de Allistair por allí junto con
su dueño. Hiro y Baymax distraen a Callaghan para que al atacarlos lance
todos los Microbots al portal sin notar que de esta forma serán absorbidos a
otra dimensión; así logran vencerlo, tratan luego de apagar el portal, pero ya
había entrado en estado crítico. En eso Baymax detecta señales de vida de
alguien femenino en algún lugar dentro del portal, deduciendo Hiro que es
Abigail, la hija de Callaghan y junto a Baymax se adentran para intentar
rescatarla. Luego de volar dentro del portal, logran hallarla inconsciente en su
cápsula y la llevan hacia la salida del portal, pero Baymax se da cuenta que
van a chocar con un gran pedazo de escombro y se interpone. La colisión
destruye parte de su armadura, incluyendo los propulsores.

Entonces Baymax se despide tristemente de Hiro y utiliza su puño propulsor

para sacarlos y decide sacrificarse después arrestan a Callaghan y después de
