Life without Science and Technology advancements seems so hard

for us to imagine. With technology advancements today we can talk
to our family and friends anywhere across the world on immideate
basis and moreso today we can also have intraplanetary
communication, undobtedly Science and Technology has broght our
distant friends so close.

Irony is that whle we talk to people miles away so easily but on the
same hand we have to struggle for time to find time to talk to our
own immideate family and at times we end up communicating with
them on WhatsApp or Facebook.

While on one hand we can travel for hundreds of miles in most

comfortable vehicles but the same vehicles give birth to diseases like
Cancer and unfortunately 30 years back when our parents were
debating the same topic they were still sighting the same example
may be today it has become more relevant and have taken
disasterous proportions.

There was time when our mothers of our parents cooked delicious
parathas for parents when they went to school and today we are
cotent with preservatives laced fast food because science and
technology has brought that advancement.

There was a time when family members were companions and today
we have TV and mobile as companions and immideate family as an
extended universe.

Advancements of Science and Technology has made us to live

automated and fast paced life and in return we have all the life style
diseases like diabetes, Hypertension and Arthritis.

On one hand we drive comfortably in fast luxury cars and the by

product is accidents and rosd rage!!!!!!!

Man today is wanting to replace GOD as today science has given us

capabiities to create living biengs by cloning them and we are
oblivious to the fact that more we intervene with nature disasters are
for us in waiting.
Global Warming, delpleting Ozone Layer, melting glaciers, Floods,
draughts are what we getting in return.

When did you woke up in the morning with chirping spund of

sparrows? Today the common sparrow looks like an exotic bird.

Friends Science and technology is not bad as science follows the laws
of nature only but the over involvements of science in our lives and
its application in intervention with Nature is only going to cause
harm.

Today we are sitting on nuclear arsenal that can destroy whole earth
many times.

While this is endless debate but we cannot live without

advancements of science and tech but we have to be more judicious
in applying priciples of science.

Infact worst example could be that child like me has taken easy way
to type and print rather write this in my own hand and as we will
grow perhaps we will even forget to write!!!!!

Let us pledge to put principles of science to positive uses and not to

intervene with nature.

There were times when someone travelled abroad or far distance his
family never expected to see him again while today we can have
breakfast in delhi, lunch in england and dinner in US.

My friends blame on science and tech for diseases but they forget
that diseases always existed its advancement of science that helped
us diagnosing them and giving them proper names and also find the
peoper treatment agaisnt those diseases.

With the gorwth of human population, it is science that help us to

produce more to feed to the ever growing population.

Five centuries back Da vinci created his idea of flying machine and
today we all fly, was that possible without tech advancements.

My eternally pessimist friends talk about nuclear weapons or

weapins of mass destruction as the gift of science but when Ashoka
fought the great war of Kalinga killing over 200000 people was it
result of a nuclear bombing?

With the advancement of science someone who is terminally ill can

live his last years in peace and comfort, some one who loses his limb
can live graacefully and independently using prosthetic limbs.

Let us understand that”Need is mother of all inventions” as we grow

so does our needs and it leads to our behaviour of questioning and
reasoning leading to technology advancements and inventions.

I would reiterate that people who curse science are eternally

pessimist while they themselves take the luxury of typing and
printing abd not taking pain in writing but they still continue to curse
science.
Yes overboarding of anything is bad and everything has good or bad
side, it is we wh have to see to it that we put science to its best
possible use.

Nuclear reaction was invented to create the nuclear energy it was

human intention that created nuclear boomb.

Hence instead of cursing science and technology let us all pledge

together to ensure that the scientific principles are used for
development of human race.
