 Abstract

In awareness of present technological and production advancements of the industrial age,

there comes an induced economic development that undeniably brings the world to its knees.

Although in the current age, the avid nature of Capitalism has brought out negative effects onto

the ecosystem and is now known to be a main contributor in ‘climate change’.

Taking in mind the presence of worldwide conflict and its of elevation through

correlated factors (e.g. overpopulation, unaccommodating rate of natural resources production,

war, environmental catastrophe), it could, on a long- term basis, assuming that there would not

be any form of adaptation of the capitalism along the parameters the contemporary era poses,

affect the manner of capitalism which solely depends on the environment as a source for raw

materials besides catering to the needs of consumers and treating them as their main audience.

This study seeks the ways that climate change awareness can change capitalism, and if one could

or could not exist at the expense of the other.

Through Data Collection and extensive comprehension of Advanced Capitalism and

Climate Capitalism, the study resulted in seeing that capitalism changes in such a way that it

continues its opportunistic intentions of profit while promoting the social movement of the

abolishment of global environmental issues. In general, this piece appeals more to the evaluation

of how capitalism compromises within the standards of its audience and the threats

environmental issues possess and suggests better approaches for a more sustainable relationship

between nature and capitalism.

supported this faction side by side as it comes to make all of its adjustments on a seemingly wild

and uncertain manner, who aided the team in pursuing their desired passion in the midst of a

hectic schedule and sudden major changes such as the group making the decision to start over,

tolerated the team’s admitted insolence and uncooperativeness a few times, and still stuck around

to see the final output.

And of course, this study would never be possible without the will and guidance of Allah

(Subhana Wa Ta’ala), whom the team’s leader gives the utmost recognition to.
