 Performed focused cardiac assessments on patients with varying heart conditions.


 Followed and executed policies and procedures according to hospital protocols.
 Prepped patients for cardiac catheterizations, CT angiography, device placements, cardioversions, and interventional radiology
procedures.
 Recovered patients that had undergone cardiac catheterizations.
 Assisted in unforeseen medical emergencies including a STEMI.
 Educated patients on what was involved in the procedure of a cardiac catheterizations.
 Participated in discharge teaching/planning with patients after cardiac catheterization.

 Performed nursing care including: obtaining/monitoring vital signs, Foley insertions, ambulating/transferring patients, mouth care,
assisting in wound care, and giving bed baths.
 Analyzed/ interpreted critical lab results and correlated them to current and past medical diagnoses.
 Documented assessments and patient status changes using EPIC computer system.
 Provided patient education about medications.
 Initiated therapeutic conversations with psychiatric patients to assess and establish appropriate goals for those patients.
 Guided therapeutic activities for groups of psychiatric patients.
