I feel that education is a very aspect in the lives of all students.

Educators should center

learning activities on the students. The focus of schools should be to reach the students in as

many ways as possible. If the learning activities are based on the students, the connection should

be one that last for the entire educational experience in the classroom. Learning is the significant

responsibility of education. It is the goal of every student and the mission of every teacher to

spread knowledge and understanding in the classroom. The teacher should be prepared to lead

pupils in the direction they should go to reach correct conclusions and answers, without directly

finding the answers for the students. Students and teachers could reach answers and conclusions

together in a shared effort. My overall results of the professional disposition assessment support

my beliefs as a teacher and reflects the ethical behavior that I will display in the classroom.

An educator must have a clear set of objectives. Educators must act as guides throughout

the students’ educational experiences. Educators should also act as consultants or facilitators.

Students need feedback and support in determining the track to best grasp their personal

academic and career goals. The learning ability of the student should not be affected by the

ethnicity of that student. All students will be treated equally. Teachers should assist the students

in making important decisions in these areas. Students should feel like their teachers are

advocates for them in the learning communities.

Students' experiences are more important than the curriculum, but the curriculum cannot

be forgotten. Educators must comprehend that a sizeable portion of their students' life contains

skill set gained through the school curriculum. Educators must be extremely competent in their

content areas and be able to incorporate the students' life experiences. Students succeed best

when their lives are reflected in their education. Not all students flourish in a traditional paper

and pencil environment. The classroom must be modeled after the real world, which means
integrating and acceptance of current trends and technology. As a teacher being open minded is

very important when thinking of new ways of learning. I have adjusted to the new era of

communication. Teachers’ positive beliefs and values will affect the student and the success will

reflect the community.

All teachers need to have a personal professional disposition of education to guide their

actions and ideas. A professional disposition offers a foundation of how an educator feels about

education, and how the members of the learning communities interact with each other.

By constantly considering the ideas of the disposition, the teacher can begin to work towards

achieving the professional goals. These goals can become long-term goals, allowing the teacher

to develop the teaching styles and methods that work best for them. Finally, by continually

asking, "How do I positively affect the lives of my students?" the teacher can examine how close

or far they are from sticking to their educational goals and professional disposition.
