STATEMENT OF INTEREST

SACHIN KUMAR. Applicant for internship.

I am writing to express my interest in pursuing the internship in the Centre for Trade and
Investment Law. I am excited by the prospect of performing research and broadening my
knowledge of investment law, and I believe I would make an excellent intern candidate.

I am interested in the CTIL internship program because it will give me invaluable experience in
domestic and world affairs related to trade and intelligence analysis of investment law that will
benefit me as I inspire pursue a career in the investment law or in government trade and commerce
agencies. I also believe that my experience and skills will be an asset to CTIL during my internship.

This internship offers educational opportunities and hands-on experience directly in line with my
long-term career goals of being a legal investment consultant.

In sum, I believe that my education and leadership experiences would benefit CITL considerably
were I to be selected for an internship. At the same time, interning at CITL would jumpstart my
career in the public sector and prepare me for possible private sector work as an investment lawyer.
