Profile

I am a creative and enthusiastic instructor who has a passion for teaching. This enthusiasm has
inspired me to develop innovative ways to maintain a high level of engagement in the history classroom
and assist students in having an outstanding learning experience by providing meaning to the past, and
being able to relate it to both the present and the future.

Teaching Philosophy

Teaching is full of surprises. A great educator is always ready to adapt, respond and uncover new
strategies that facilitate learning in the classroom. Teaching is about building positive relationships,
gaining student’s cooperation and inspiring a love for learning. A great teacher is passionate and
enthusiastic day in and day out. He or she creates a unique, exciting and safe learning environment in
which students are motivated to discover what they are passionate about.
