Listen to the dialogue,and tell what it is about.
Amy:Hi,Roderick!
Roderick:Hello Amy. How was your vacation?
Amy:Fine. I visited my aunt in Manila. She lives in a subdivision where all the houses
look like the same.
Roderick:Tell me more. Did you meet new friends? What things did you see?
Amy: I was with my cousin Richard, most of the time. He has a dog named Extro
whom we took for walks around the subdivision. Sometimes , my aunt would take us to
the shopping mall.
Roderick: To the shopping mall?
Amy:Sure. We went to Show mart. It’s a big building where there are many stores.
They sell all kinds of things-toys, clothes, books and many more. We also watched a
movie Starwars II.
Roderick:At the mall?
Amy: Yes! There are three cinemas at the mall.
Roderick: I’d like to visit the city,too,one day and see the mall.
3.Discussion
1. Who were talking in the dialogue? What were they talking about? How did Amy
spend her vacation?
