The instructor is an assistant professor and Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Lead.
The instructor has a well-rounded academic and professional experience, enabling
him to share current concepts on the subject that are vital for Iqra University
students.
Course This course is offered to the students who want to work on improving their
Description interpersonal skills. The simulation used for this course is a board meeting of
business executives recurring for the duration of the course. Interpersonal Skills is
defined and its various aspects highlighted. The executives are expected to come
prepared to the meetings. The instructor acts as a facilitator. The executives, during
interactive meetings, learn to develop critical thinking and articulate professionally
their understanding of the topics covered in the course. There is an election for the
CEO of Interpersonal Skills Company and CEOs for North, South, East and West
Companies in the first session. Each executive schedules two (2) one-to-one
meetings with the instructor, one before the mid-term and one before the finals.
The executives complete two projects working as members of their respective
company. The executives complete five (5) assignments during the course. During
the final class time, the executives (CEO of Interpersonal Skills Company and
CEOs of North, South, East, West companies with full participation of all
executives) arrange a social event with invited guests to showcase their learning
and experience during the semester. There is a mid-term and a final exam.
