Bitter sweet symphony by The Verve

Cause it's a bittersweet symphony this…………….

Trying to make ends meet, you're a …………………. to the money then you die.
I'll take you down the only …………………. I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the PLACES/VERSUS where all the veins meet, yeah.

Chorus
No change, I can't change, I can't change, I can't change,
but I'm here in my mold, I am here in my mold.
But I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mold, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Well I never PRAY/PAY,

But tonight I'm on my ………………, yeah.
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the……………. in me, yeah.
I let the………………….. shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now.
But the AIRWAVES/AIRWAYS are clean and there's nobody singing to me now.

Chorus
No change, I can't change, I can't change, I can't change,
But I'm here in my mold, I am here in my mold.
And I'm a million different people from one day to the next
I can't change my mold, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

(Well h… y.. e… b… d….?)

(I can't change, I can't change)

Cause it's a bittersweet symphony this life.

Trying to make ends meet, trying to ……………….. some money then you die.

The Verve
They were an English rock band formed in 1989 by the lead vocalist Richard
Ashcroft, guitarist Nick McCabe, bass guitarist Simon Jones and drummer
Peter Salisbury. Their music was characterized by its psychedelic sound. The
band went through several line-up changes, break-ups, drug abuse, and
health problems. The single Bitter sweet symphony became a worldwide hit.
However, it wasn’t written by Richard Ashcroft as it was initially said, but by
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones). This single’ video is quite
interesting because there you can see Richard walking down a crowded
street, refusing to change direction throughout the song, ignoring what is
going on around him. In the movie Cruel Intentions (Juegos Sexuales in Latin America) this song is
played at the final scene.
