Purpose
The purpose of this manual is to provide each Payroll Preparer with the proper knowledge and
comprehensive resources necessary to perform the tasks involved with processing payroll
information and changes for employees.

Software
This payroll system is a Windows-based integrated payroll and human resource management
system. It is cost-effective and designed with robust functionality and performance. It is user
friendly and flexible, allowing payroll to be done according to the managements requirements.

This software manages a wide variety of payroll activities from simple straightforward deduction
categories to complex payrolls. It tracks all employee data related to payroll processing, print pay-
slips and generates a standard payroll report to satisfy your processing requirements. You can
maintain full employee details including job and pay histories.

Hardware Requirements
The Payroll System is designed based on the latest technology available. To maximise your
investment, the minimum hardware requirement is as follows:

Computer system
Memory
Hard disk
Printer

Installation

To install copy the application in the computer sytem. ?

How to Start?
1) To launch PAYROLL SYSTEM, double-click the shortcut icon on the Windows desktop.

2) Choose a company database in the Database Settings window and open it by clicking the
Connect button.

3) On the Main Screen choose either Employees or Payroll. Payroll button display records of
payroll payment for employees in a particular date.

4) If user wants to view records of all employees in the database, select Employees button. User
can add, edit or delete employee records.

Functions you can perform in the above startup window

Click on to add new employee.

Click on to edit data record.

Click on to delete a selected record.

Click on to go into individual records of each employee.

Click on to search for an employee.

5) Select an employee and click on Records button to view record on employee, including wage or
salary rate, overtime rate, deductions and others.

6) If user want to view monthly records of employee payroll payments, select Payroll button.

To view payroll payment details in a specific date, select the payroll date using the combo box and
search.

Fill employee information accordingly.

 Position (New position can be added by clicking
button next to combo box)

SELECT FORMULA

Daily Rate By: Input the daily wage rate

Monthly Salary By: Input monthly salary

OT-Rate By: Select the overtime formula

Special Non-Working Holiday By: Input per day rate

Regular Holiday By: Input per day rate

Note: User will choose either daily rate or monthly salary


depending on employee payment scheme

Payroll Setup
A user will define the payroll according to working pattern of an individual employee for each
issuance date.

 Issuance Date: Payroll payment date

FORMULA

Wage, salary, overtime and holiday rates are defined in


the Employee record.

Wage: Daily rate * No. of working days

Salary: Monthly salary * No. of months

Overtime: Overtime rate * No. of hours

Holiday: Regular/Special rate * No. of Hours

DEDUCTIONS/DEFICITS/INCENTIVES

Deductions need to be manually inputted.

Functions that can be performed:

Click on to compute total wage/salary.

Click on to add in employee record.

Total amount of salary/wage will display in bottom left


of Records.
