University of Engineering and Technology, (UET) Lahore for the year, 2018.
* Interested candidates who take admission in Evening, Afternoon and Replica Programs of the University of
the Punjab including Gujranwala / Jhelum Campuses should also appear in the Entry Test where mandatory.

* Clearance of Entry Test is mandatory also for admission against reserved seats in the above mentioned

MERIT CALCULATION FORMULA

Admission shall be made on the basis of the Basic Criteria and Additional Criteria, if applicable to
any of the individual / Constituent College / Department.

Basic Criteria for MA / M.Sc. or Equivalent

Marks earned (1/4 of matriculation + 1/5 FA / F.Sc. or equivalent + BA / B.Sc. + Additional marks*)

Total mark (1/4 of matriculation + 1/5 of FA / F.Sc. or equivalent + BA / B.Sc.)

Basic Criteria for BS (4-Yrs) Program

In case of 100% academic weightage A above will be multiplied by 100 while in case of 70% academic

**The candidate should produce a certificate from a well established institution to the effect that
he / she are Hafiz-e-Quran. Moreover, Departmental Admission Committee shall interview the candidate
and make sure that the candidate had learnt the Holy Quran by heart and could recited it from whatever
portion he / she is required to recite.

***When subject marks (earned) are included in the earned marks as additional marks then total subject
marks will be added in the denominator total marks.
