Whitfield. I have known Kristina for the past 4 years as a fellow teacher and as a member of
the 5th grade team. Kristina has played a huge role in creating a positive 5th grade culture with

Kristina is a very talented teacher and is always eager to learn and better her skills. Ms.
Whitfield is excellent at planning hands on student led activities in her classroom. Whether it is
projects, research, presentations, labs, or virtual labs students are always excited about the
learning that is taking place in science. Kristina is also great at sharing her lessons, ideas, and
routines with other teachers. She has supported multiple first year teachers in curriculum
creation and setting expectations for labs and projects.

Ms. Whitfield has proven to be a team player and gets along well with all those she
interacts with. As a member of the 5th grade team, Ms. Whitfield has helped to plan field trips,
academic and behavior incentives, as well as classroom celebrations. Kristina is someone that I
know I can count on to complete all assigned tasks. Kristi is a part of the science content team
where she works with others to plan science assessments and curriculum to be used across the
entire network. Ms. Whitfield has even shared this knowledge while running a professional
development session for science teachers on labs in the classroom.

The level of dedication to the scholars that Ms. Whitfield demonstrates is admiral. She
is in constant contact with families, keeping them up to date on student process. Ms. Whitfield
also plans many incentives for her scholars to encourage them to do their best and
demonstrate skills that they are working on. Scholars are always asking to eat lunch with
Kristina, again showing her dedication to the relationships she builds with them.

I strongly recommend Kristina Whitfield for any position in education, working with
students. She is professional, dedicated, and creative and would make an excellent addition to
