LESSON PLAN in MATH 10

I. OBJECTIVES ; At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1.Calculate a specified measures of position of a set of data
2.Determine the value of percentiles for group data
3.Interpret measures of position.

A. Subject Matter: Percentile for Group Data

C. Materials:
Manila Papers, Markers, Chalk, Board.
III. DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITY:
A. Pre-Activity:
1. Review:
Let the students recall the formula of decile for grouped data.

Using the formula and the given data, let the students solve

2.Motivation:
Identify group of odd and even numbers between 1 to 10
In words. (Use strip of letters to represent numbers).
3. Presentation:
The teacher presents the lesson and the lesson objectives.
(Percentile for Group Data).
(Please refer the formula to the Annotation)
B. Activity Proper:
(The teacher group the students into 4 groups)
Instruction:
The activity will last for 15 minutes.
Chose a recorder and a reporter for your group.
Everybody is advice to participate in answering the activity.
Work quietly.
Procedure:
1. Solve for the position
