Whereas section 213 of the family code is hereby amended as follows

In deciding in whose custody, or in whose care and control, a child should be placed, the paramount
consideration shall be the welfare of the child and subject to this, the court shall have regard

AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE executive order no. 209

SECTION 1.Section 213, of executive order No. 209, otherwise known as the "The Family Code of the
Phillippines", is hereby amended to read as follows:
