If you really want to know what you should read, put it before the Lord God in prayer. He will
lead you through His Holy Spirit and He will guide you into all truth!
I have put stars beside those books which I recommend for spiritual growth. I also think that
Bible software is a invaluable aide in Bible study. There are several free Bible software packages listed
below. I purchased a Bible software package before beginning the writing of my book and I used it
almost daily.
There are also several sources of downloadable audio Bibles listed below. Some of the software
packages include an audio option. Many other sources of free audio Bibles are available if you take the
time to search the Internet. These are an invaluable aid which can be used to put the word of God into
your mind daily. I am planning on getting an MP3 player for the sole purpose of taking the Bible and
good worship music with me wherever I go.
Jesus used the word of God to defeat Satan when Satan tempted Him in the desert. The Apostle
Paul says that the word of God builds our faith (Rom 10:17). He further stated that without faith it is
impossible to please God (Heb 11:6). We need to fill our minds with the word of God on a daily basis!
Ratings
The ratings in some cases represent my evaluation of the book or product. In other cases, the
ratings represent my opinion of the value of that particular type of material and not the actual product.
For the most part, only those products or books which I highly recommend are rated. If I do not highly
recommend a book, it is not necessarily an indication of a lack of quality. More likely, it is because I
