"How will I conduct myself inside the company?"

As a student trainee, I am not just bringing my own reputation but also I am
bringing the name of our school Cebu Technological University(CTU)- Tuburan
Campus. So, how will I conduct myself inside the company?

In this company, I am not just here for fun, for grade or for the fulfillment of
my course. I am here to learn and experience new things that will widen and
strengthen up my knowledge and skills. The best way to learn is to experience,
that is why I am very thankful for this wonderful opputunity.

It is my duty and responsibility to be responsible in every task that will be

assigned to me. Talking about being responsible, it means, I will come to duty 10
minutes or above before the time. I will remain calm through out the day and
always wear the most important outfit, smile. If I have questions, I won't be
hesitate to ask, specially when the instruction is not clear enough for me to
understand and in that sort of way, it will be much easier for me to do and
finished the given task. Also, it is a great way to avoid mistakes/errors. I will
certainly be kind to my all of my workmates in the company, most specially to
those who have higher positions and to those who are obliged to assist us. I will
obey and respect their rules and regulations. Last but not the least, I will love
and enjoy the work.

I will do my very best just to impressed the company with my performance. I

will always stay active and responsible in my duty. So with that, I can assure
that the company will love and appreciate my effort. The school will also be
proud of me.

That how will I conduct myself inside the company.

"Things That Happened During Work Immersion Duty"

July 16, 2018

Dear Diary,

Hae! I am Charina Atis Lopez a Gr.12 student taking up the academic course of
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). For the partial fulfilment
of this course, we are required to have our work immersion for a minimum of
eighty(80) hours. Today is our first work immersion duty in campus and I was
assigned in Shared Service Facility (SSF) CTU- Tuburan Campus FABLAB.

On this day, together with my two(2) classmates; Marsha and Angel Kim and also
with the two(2) TVL ICT students Jhello and Jeric, we explored the place since our
head (Mr. Siegfried Mendoza) is not around. I was extremely amazed to those
machines that I've seen lately; laser cutter/engraver, 3D printer, print and cut machine,
large milling machine and it's small version, then the embroidery machine. Also we
started exploring the Sketch Ap which is use to create different designs for laser
cuter/engraver. And that what happened on my first duty. God Bless!

July 17, 2018

Dear Diary,

Good day, now it's my second day of duty and I am glad to say that we already meet Mr.
Siegfried Mendoza. He oriented us about the machines and gave us some important
information about, the essence of FABLAB in CTU-Tuburan Campus. Also I've known
there tag line "Fablab can make almost anything" I was more amazed about the place.
Without any further a due he demonstrated and teaches us on how to create a design
for the laser cutter and on how to operate it. It was a nice try but sad to say I wasn't
able to make a successful work, because we are running out of time, but, however it
was a good experience and worth trying. God Bless!

July 18, 2018

Dear Diary,

Today is my 3rd day of duty. Finally, with my full determination and dedication I
was able to operate and create my own designed of the laser cutter machine. Mr.
Mendoza also told us to sketch the machine using sketch app. So the first thing that
we did is we get the accurate measurement of it, then after that we start sketching.
The task is not easy, especially for student like who have no experience on doing
those task. But there is nothing wrong in trying, so kept on practicing the whole day.
God Bless!

July 19, 2018

Dear Diary,

Today we assisted Mr. Mendoza in making another tarpolin. Since he is done

teaching us on how to operate the print and cut machine, it becomes much easier and
faster for him to finished the work. "Many hands is better than one", same with our
recycled broom out of plastic bottle project, horayy! We're finally done making it. It's
because of our coordination, cooperation and dedecation us a team. God Bless!

July 27, 2018

Dear Diary,

If there's a beginning, there's an ending. Today is my last day of duty in the lab.
Time flies so fast, we just started and now it's the end. Since the training is over, Mr.
Mendoza let us make another designs for us to enjoy our last duty. I just sat in the
front of the computer all day, tried to create a fabulous design, but, no matter how I
tried I still couldn't finished one work. Howevere, it was all worthit. I never regretted
that I was being assigned there because I wasn't just fulfilling the requirements of the

* WEEKLY NARRATIVE*

1st Week

The first week of off-campus immersion was full of amazing and unforgettable experienced.
We arrived early and cleaned the establishment every morning, went to the assigned
barangay health centers, fittch water sometimes in the afternoon if there is no supply, assist
the nurses that are with us during duty, and then when the time is up, we went to our home
after logging out riding a motorcycle but most of the time walking.

2nd Week

The second week of immersion was very tiring but yet fulfilling. We were predominantly
assigned at the center since we were having problem on our schedule due to the opening
class of 2018-2019. I felt so stressed during those days thinking about what could be the
things that we've missed on the school, but thankfully we've successfully accomplished and
complete the numbers of hours that were being required for us to work.

Reflection

In this work immersion duty, I experienced and learned a lot of things. I encountered new
people and make new friends. I encountered difficult challenges and learn to pass it with the
help of my friends or co-immersionis. I truly treasured very moment that I have on RHU II
Health Center. It was an amazing experienced and wonderful opputunity. Going to different
barangay health centers was truly an adventure and unforgettable moment. We built unity
with my classmates. We built happy memories that I treasured the most. Because of it, I have
proved to myself how strong and lucky I am to become part of RHU II Health Center for a
short moment of time. I may not able to have the best performance but atleast I've done my
best in everything that I've done.
