“Cyber”

Bully, person who discriminates and belittles another person. Bullying, the act of
belittling someone. Cyber bullying, humiliation through media. Cyber ONLINE In short, cyber
bullying has been around for plenty of years. Enough to make a century. Though it is old it still
happens and still hurts people all around the world. Millions harassing one another. With many
forms of cyber bullying, they all have the same intention. Bullying usually surrounds the victims
with words calling them “ugly”, “stupid”, “fat” and enough nicknames that break down a single
person. As cyber bullying is getting quite popular, more are standing up for themselves. And
trust between the people who surround you is recommended, whenever bullying is occurring to
you. As the article says, always stand up for yourself, if you can’t, then not YET. You can trust
your people only when you, yourself is ready to talk about the problems and fully trust them.
And go “cyber” once more.

THE PROBLEM AND ITS SETTING

Introduction

In Agusan National High School Cyber bullying is a very common problem of many
students nowadays. Cyber bullying can cause negative effects to students such as low self-
esteem, withdrawal from family, spending a lot of time alone and hatred to themselves. On
severe cases, this can lead to mental illnesses such as anxiety, trauma and depression.

The progress in technology has created a space in cyber which is an important portion in
daily communications. This is where teenagers express themselves and interact with others
Cyber bullying is bullying that takes place over internet platforms such as Facebook, Instragram,
Twitter, Youtube, and more. It has become increasingly common, especially among teenagers,
when someone bully or harass others on social media sites.

This research aims to identify the student’s and teacher’s perception on Cyber bullying in
order to limit the cases of bullying of any kinds and forms.
