BASIC THEORY
2.1 Time and place of implementation of internship

Place of internship or industrial work practice, which is held at the
LABKOM MA Term Univ. Almuslim having its address at Jln. Almuslim Matang
Glumpang Dua. The timing of the internship or industrial work practices for SMK
1 Bireuen is 3 (three) months, starting from October 1 to December 31, 2016.
Internship or industrial work practices at the LABKOM MA Term Univ.
Almuslim from 08.00 WIB - 16.00 WIB, which is held from Monday to Friday.
2.2 Needs
The equipment or materials needed to backup and restore acronis true
image are as follows:
1. Iso Acronis True Image Boot is the most important ingredient in installing
Windows with Acronis true images
2. Flashdisk / CD / DVD for storing ISO
3. Computer to restore
4. Can Prepare Windows 7, 8, or 10 Ultimate 32/64 Bit
5. Supporting Software such as Drivers, Games, Antivirus, ETC.
6. External Hard Drive is used to Save Windows Restore files from Acronis True
Images.
2.3 Definition of Acronis True Image.

2.3.1 Definition
Acronis is the leading software in terms of backup, disaster recovery, and
provider of secure data access for consumers, small and medium enterprises, and
companies. Acronis solutions include physical, virtual and cloud server backup
software, storage management, secure file sharing, and system implementation.
With the support of Acronis Any Data Engine, Acronis products provide easy,
complete and safe solutions for data on local, remote, cloud and cellular devices.
Acronis is unmatched in terms of new generation data protection.

2.3.2 Strengths
 Supports Microsoft Vista.
 Speed up the standard installation process.
 Simplify the installation process because the program is done at once.
 The installation process that is long enough can be used to work on others.
2.3.3 Weaknesses
 It cannot be restored if the different system between the backup computer
with the computer to be restored.
 According to the Acronis software license policy, one copy of the Acronis
program must be purchased for each PC that uses it and almost all Acronis
company products must be purchased with 1 year maintenance (additional
price).
 Does not support Windows XP Home.
 Incompatibility with other backup / restore software.
 The hardware must be the same and if it is not the same, the software will
usually crash (not supporting each other so the processor continues to
work even if there is no program being run).

2.4 Work Steps

2.4.1 How to Make Acronis Bootable on a Flashdisk
Here is how to make Acronis Bootable on the flashdisk as follows:

Figure 2.6 click ok, then the creation of Acronis True Image Bootable on
Flashdisk has been successful and is ready to use

2.4.2 How to Backup

First, restart the laptop to enter the BIOS to set the BOOT. After entering
the BIOS enter the existing Flashdisk, booting Acronnis True Image, then Exit
and Save from BIOS.
After that it will appear like this:

2.4.3 How to Restore

After finishing copying the Acronis True Image backup file to the External
Harddisk or Flashdisk the next step is that we will restore it on another client
computer, insert the Acronis True Image flashdisk into the client computer then
attach the External Harddisk / Flashdisk containing the Image backup of Acronis
True Image.
After entering the BIOS enter the existing flashdisk booting Acronis True Image
after that Exit and save it from BIOS.

2.5 Results Achieved

After the backup and restore process, the results we achieve are:
 We can understand and know the concepts and how the Acronis True
Image application works.
 Extending insight into the Acronis application
