Miss Miller l has learned quickly as to the content of fifth grade, She teaches the same subject twice a day and modifies her teaching to
adapt to the change in class dynamics.

Miss Miller is always prepared with detailed lesson plans and keeps a consistent and effective pace. There hasn't been much
opportunity for differentiated instruction because we were at the end of a grading period and quarterly assessing much of the time.

Many of Miss Miller's lessons have the students collaborating with each other and moving around the room. Many cooperative learning
activities were planned and executed effectively. She used flip charts, the document camera and posted many online activities on
Schoology.

Miss Miller prepared pre-assessments for upcoming Units in order to have a baseline knowledge of her students strengths and
weaknesses and plans on using them for differentiated
instruction. She worked along side of me in grading the mid-term based line assessments in Math and the Quarterly assessment in Mast
as well.

Miss Miller is very aware of what is going on in the room as well as when students are moving from class to class. She respects them
as individuals and has a very positive report with them. She rewards many of them by eating lunch with a few students in the classroom
on Friday. She continues to work on keeping the students' focus and unnecessary talking. It didn't take long for the class to realize she
is in control.

Miss MIller is extremely effective inn her communication skills. She listens and is very willing to adapt her teaching to try other styles.
Her nature is very calming which resonates well with 5th graders.

Students document their quarterly goals and successes on paper and discuss their data. Miss Miller participated in a goal setting
professional learning lesson and discussed the advantages of setting goals and what goals are appropriate, There will be more
opportunity for goal setting and evaluation in the second part of her student teaching experience,
