Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) also called Check-Engine Light (CEL) comes on to
indicate engine related

faults. DLC or OBDII plug shown above is used to access Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).

Note: If this port is not available simply ground Pin E29 (SCS) direct on the ECU to
read the CEL

DLC – Locate the OBDII Data Link Connector (DLC) under the RSX/EP3 driver’s side
dash.

Use a jumper wire to connect terminals 4 and 9 of the DLC.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you are connecting only the correct terminals as shown,
otherwise you risk

causing electrical damage to the ECU.

Turn the ignition key to the ON (II) position, but do not start the engine. Carefully observe
the CEL

and reference the DTC Trouble code chart below to chart below to resolve issue.
