I am a soon to be college student and would very much like a spot in your nursing 
program. 
 
My background includes a recent CNA certification and working in several different 
restaurants. I am currently working at Chili’s Bar & Grill and have been for the past six 
months. I completed my CNA certification throughout the first semester of my senior 
year of high school. By taking this class, I was able to make sure I was making a good 
career decision with going into nursing. My current position is the main To-Go at Chili’s. 
My responsibilities are to take orders over the phone and in-person, quickly organize 
and prepare To-Go orders and allow customers to pay for their meal. I aspire to be a 
Nurse-Midwife, but that is very far in my future, although not out of reach eventually.
