Appendix 2: Lesson Reflection

On Monday 11th March, I taught KG2/3 students from Al Dewan school in the classroom. The
students learned to take away numbers.
I started by asking question about what I have in the bag and what they know about take away.
The students think then they told me the answer. I give them bolls and I told them to take away
numbers of bolls then count how many bolls left. All group were excited about the bolls and
beads because they like to play also they have a prior understanding about taking away numbers.
I realised that I need to provide activities that stimulate their curiosity to keep the students
engaged.
