Question:
Name the various proofs for the existence of God. Which argument is the strongest one
in your opinion?

Existence of God:
The existence of God is a subject of debate in world of religions and popular culture.
There are many arguments and poofs which show that the God exist.

As a Muslim we believe that the God exist and present in anything of the World. We can’t
see him but we can assume his presence in nature, in our mind and heart, the universe, the routine of day
and night, sun and the moon and in every thing of the world.

Let we start from beginning:

First of all, the question come in mind that who created this world? When it gets destroyed? Is there any
God, If yes then then where? etc.

Now we get to know about the arguments that proofs that the God exist.

1. Fitrah Argument:

Fitrah means the primordial nature of humans. Fitrah is also related to Islam. This is when, it is
viewed in respect to the one of God that there is no god but ALLAH. In this sense, is the concept which He
has created in mankind, of Knowing ALLAH the God. It is the natural constitution with which the child is
created in his mother’s womb, whereby he is capable of accepting the religion of truth and believing in
the existence of God.

Doctor Barrett in 2008 said that:

Children are born “believers" in God and do not simply acquire religious beliefs
through indoctrination, according to an academic.
(Martin Beckford, Religious Affairs. 24 Nov 2008)

 But fourteen hundred (1400) years ago The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told that:
“Every child is born in state of Fitrah (believer in God). It is the parents that will
make him to be a Jew a Christian or a Majjusi.”

(Bukhari and Muslim)

As a Muslim we have believe in the god and he Prophet Muhamad (PBUH). The above statement
of Prophet which he said fourteen years ago tells us about the presence of God. But when we assume the
whole world there are lot of disbelievers of the God, for them the statement of Doctor Barrett means a
lot.

From above both statements it is totally confirmed that there is a God who made the universe.
Every human born in the world is the believer of the God. After his birth it is upon his parents to make
him a disbeliever or any other worshiper of fake God.

It is the Fitrah of every human either he is believer or a disbeliever that he remembers him in any
difficulty or problem like “Oh God help me” or “Oh God save me”.

2. Design and Designer Argument:

Look around the yourself there are lots of things which are beautiful and designed very good, that
called the nature or the things which does not designed by the humans. After looking at them first
question come in mind that Who made them or designed them very well? Because we know that where
ever there is a design there has to be a designer.
Just look at the universe, who designed it? because nothing came into by chance or by itself. So,
we have to believe that someone designed the universe and he is the one God. Just look at the routine of
the life, the suns come out and goes down, the moon, the day and night, weather, rain or sunshine, who
is controling that, it has to be someone who is doing that all things because nothing can do it by itself, it
is the only one God.
As in the HOLLY QURAN:

English Translation: “ Verily in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night
and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water
(rain) which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the
moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds
which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed ayah (proofs, evidence, signs, etc.) for people
of understanding”. (Al Quran: Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Verse 164).

Look at the things we have to eat fruits and the vegetables and many other things we have. We
have to believe that there is a God who is doing everything in the universe.

3. Scientific Reasoning:

All divine religions believe in the power and existence of God. Except Islam, the other
divine religions (Christianity & Judaism) made the religious corruption, hence the main message of God
was lost or made doubtful. As a monotheistic religion, the basic belief of Islam is to believe in Allah’s
existence and oneness. There are many proofs that demonstrate His existence and oneness all around.
In 1920s a scientist Edwin Hubble studied the movement of stars and galaxies and he observed
that the stars and galaxies are drifting away from each other. Moreover, he filled the dotted balloon with
air and observed that those dots became distant from each other as more and more air was filling into
the balloon. He applied this theory to the expansion of the universe like a balloon and galaxies are like
dots on it, which are going far away from each other at the rate of the expansion. If the process is reversed
everything would get focused back to a single point where this has started. Hence the universe began
from a single point in time equals to zero.
As the law of conservation of mass states that “energy can neither be created and nor be
destroyed, however it can be transformed from one state to another”. Just following this statement, we
get to know that anything can not come from nothing or it can not be change into nothing. Now look at
this huge universe how this could be possible that it come from nothing, someone has to be a creator of
this universe.

And the theory of Edwin Hubble also tells us about someone who created this universe because
nothing come from nothing and nothing can be created by itself.
The complex but perfect structure of the human body indicates the existence of Allah. All the cells
and parts of our body operate in consistency. A cell is perfectly designed which is the building block of
living beings. In every cell, there exists a very detailed instruction code, much like a miniature computer
program. The DNA code in each of the cells is very similar to a computer program. It is comprised of four
synthetic concoctions that researchers condense as A, T, G, and C. These are orchestrated in the human
cell like this: CGTGTGACTCGCTCCTGAT like PC program 101001101011100. There are three billion of these
letters in each human cell. Subsequently, the presence of a little cell is just conceivable through the
intensity of Allah. The convoluted structure of cerebrum, eye, heart, muscles and so forth welcomes to
consider the Creator.

After the above speculations and proclamations, we come to realize that there is somebody who made
universe and he is ALLAH, we need to have faith in his reality.

4. Religious Phenomena:

From the above three arguments we have confirmed that the God exist, now we discuss
in religious matter about its existence. Islam in not a new religion but it is the completion and expansion
of previous divine religions.

The “light” of the knowledge of God is found in the guidance, spiritual direction, and the sense of peace
that one can attain by practicing Islam. The greatest proof for the existence and Lordship of Allah is
discovered in the innate experiences of the heart. These experiences help to find comfort, inner-peace,
moral education and meaning in the life of believers which are the spiritual fruits of true religion.

In the Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Zoroastrians the concept of oneness of God is
prevailing with minute differences. They have many other gods but deep inside they believe in one single
God. That is why they ask help from the Lord of lords, even the atheist seek help of God in their crisis.
Even in the ancient civilizations, the belief in One God existed. Later, they turned to the polytheism. But
the concept of monotheism was all there in one or another form.
The stories and events of Prophet Adam and Eve, Prophet Moses, Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet
Yaqoob, Prophet Yusuf and Prophet Essa (Jesus) (Peace Be Upon Them) are commonly discussed in almost
every religion. Although, there are differences in the revelations and sequence of events but the divine
message is same. We Muslims believe that all prophets are infallibles, they are not the sin-doers whereas
in the previous scripts like Bible they labeled them as the sinners.

Allah has created His creatures to worship Him only. We, the humans and another creature known
as Jinn are also mentioned in Quran with the purpose of their creation that is to worship Him.

We believe that Islam is the true religion and there is only one ALLAH(God) and Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) is the last Prophet from ALLAH.

The Strongest Argument:

As we discussed four arguments about the existence of God, now we have to choose the strongest
argument. From the above arguments I prefer scientific reasoning as the strongest argument.

As we all know that this is the time of modern sciences, we all have well knowledge about it and
it has become a part of our live. No one can disagree with the law of conservation of mass and the theory
of Edwin Hubble. As believing these statements we have to believe that the God exist, who created this
universe for us and He is ALLAH.
