Reflective essay

The reason why I took this class was because I wanted to improve my English. I wanted to learn

more about English and learn better writing to improve my skill. This class as English is my

favorite class all time and always because English is my favorite subject and that is what I want

to do when i grow up, be a English teacher. This semester we wrote a three essay and learn about

these essay. I learned a lot of things about this class I learned how to set up a essay. I learned

how to start you essay and how to end it. I learned how to work as a group and to help each other

and more.English 1001 has taught me a lot over the course of a couple months, it has increased

my writing skills and has made my confidence a little stronger as well. Although it has been

difficult for me I feel like I am putting in my best effort and getting the grades I deserve. For my

ePortfolio, I decided to use what I thought was my best piece of writing for this semester, my

essay fast food.

In my ePortfolio, I used my exploratory essay I will talking about how fast food affect

people body and what danger it’s cause to people body. “Fast food” which informs readers about

the different types of protein supplements, the positives and negatives effects, etc. Under the

assignment one module, my preparatory work was a word web that I created using information

from all my sources for my paper. My rough draft which was my first version of my paper is

listed above my preparatory work. The final version of my paper is the first em listed under the

header because it is the most important paper in this section. There are many reasons why people
people fast food without knowing. I described different reasons why some fast food are more

healthy and unhealthy to eat. Throughout the process of creating my ePortfolio, the main goal

was to show my progress from the beginning to the end. The reason why i chose this essay is

because I feel like people should know what kind food they are eating is it healthy or unhealthy

and is it cause problem on your body. We all know many people eat fast food without knowing

what it’s do for the body. I want to people to know what kinda food they are eating and why is

the food healthy or unhealthy.

Reflection This semester I learned a lot of thing about this class i learned how to set up a

essay and how to end an essay. I learned how to write essay better and i learned good thing about

my essay and the bad things. I need work on my correction and checking if my essay is

complete and if it make sense to my professor. My favorite essay are two essays the one I talk

about fast and the other is when I talk about should college be free. Because I was a talking about

fast food and how it’s causes problem for people. The reason why I choose this essay is because

it is important to me and fast food restaurant still serving food that causes people problem for the

body without knowing it. I talk about fast food so people can know what is wrong with eating

fast food without know and its effect you body. I wrote about fast food so people can read my

essay and understand how it feels to eat unhealthy without knowing it. In my essa. I want to tell

people some food are wrong thing to eat and we all need come up with solution to improve fast

food. I wrote and choose this essay because I want to people to know their health food and

unhealthy food. I want to let our kids and students know that some foods are wrong thing to eat .

I don’t have a least favorite essay because i like all the essay.

College should be free is my second favorite Free college will help students to be able to go to

good colleges they may not otherwise be able to go to. Free education will help more people to
attend school. College should be free because in our society education is key to success. essay of

this semester. I agree that college should be free for everyone. A lot of people can't pay for

college, but no one wants to be on the streets, no one wants their child to fail, most people can

get a loan but in the end can't pay it back. Free college will help our economic It will help lot of

people not ending up at the street and they can go find education. Going to college will help you

get better jobs. It increase economy status.he reason why I choose this essay is because it is

important to me and I want to people see and know what i am fighting for in our world.

In my E-portfolio I have proven the steps I took to make one of the assignments I

received in my English assignment and discussion board class and also what I did it about and

what sources I used to support the main idea of the project.

After doing different projects in my English class that ranged from the rhetorical analysis,

summaries, an exploratory essay, a research paper, and board discussions I feel more confident

in my writing. I feel capable of writing an article that is directed to a specific audience and

defending or just explaining a particular subject or point of view I can also incorporate my own

toughs on the paper without changing the meaning it. I evaluate the texts investigate different

types of sources and understand that a writing assignment integrates different tasks and processes

in order to transmit the desired idea. I know that to get a better result on a paper, multiple drafts

might have to be done beforehand so in order to do that I investigate and try different approaches

to talk about what is need it. While doing the Exploratory essay for the course, I gave feedback

to my peers as they did the same to me so that way we could have a new pair of eyes looking at

our paper and analyze how could it be better or if it was good and keep doing the same things.

I used an electronic environment for my drafts, reviewing materials, editing, and to share my

texts with others. I feel comfortable using different electronic tools in order to find articles or
papers that could be beneficial for my writing as I did with my Exploratory essay when I used

Google, the school library and other tools in order to find the best sources for my paper.

Conclusion: This semester I learned a lot of thing about this class I learned how to set up a essay

and how to end an essay. I learned how to write essay better and I learned good thing about my

essay and the bad things. I need work on my correction and checking if my essay is complete

and if it make sense to my professor. I also learned about how to work with group of people by

discussing what are we learning and with professor too. This is english class really help me move

forward.
