RESEARCH PROJECTS

• Consensus control of Multi-Agent systems

Economic dispatch problem and power mismatch which is the major issue in smart grid is
resolved through distributed consensus approach.

• OBDII, Android and OpenERP Based Vehicle's 3M System

A government fully funded project based on design and developed a hardware and Algorithm
for OBD-II vehicle systems. Significance of this system is to achieve management and
performance optimization through initiating the corrective measures based on the “just in
time” information about vehicles.

• Performance Analysis of Different Classifiers using Brain Tumor Dataset

Performance analysis of some of the most commonly used classifiers in use today. The
primary aim of this project is to objectively evaluate four classification algorithms (Bayesian
Classifier, KNN Classifier, K-Mean Classifiers and Neural Networks) by classifying a
standard Brain Tumor RIDER NEURO MRI Dataset.

• A Comparative study of HEVC and Standard H.264 video codecs based on Low,
Medium & High resolution video sequences
A performance assessment of these video codes based on various metrics such as PSNR
and computational time is carried out.

• Comparative speed analysis of various Next-Generation Alignment tools

To discuss a series of tools designed for precise and high speed alignment of short reads to
reference genome. Such as Bowtie2, BWA, Soap, Sub-read and Top-hat. Moreover, to
evaluate the best and faster data processing tool using different threads.

SEMESTER PROJECTS

• LAN Messenger
Implementation of socket based inter process communication in Linux using socket
programming in C, following client-server architecture.

• Digital Alarm Clock

Semester project developed by using 8051 Microcontroller, programmed in C.

• PONG Game
Semester project developed using Xilinx Spartan 3 FPGA Starter Kit.

• 8 bit ALU
Semester project developed via ICs and PCB for course of Computer Architecture and
Organization.

• Water level indicator

Semester project developed by using 8051 Microcontroller.
