Experiment no.6
Procedure
First of all we will make the bolt. Sketch a circle of smaller radius and extrude it to form
a cylinder. Now on the top of this cylinder draw a polygon and extrude it to get the shape
of a bolt
Now use cut sweep command to draw threads on the whole go area of the bolt
Now we will make the nut. Draw a circle of same radius as you did for the bolt and
extrude it to certain thickness.
Now similarly draw the same threads you did for the bolt by using cut sweep command
thus the nut and bolt fit out each other perfectly.

Now use chamfer command on the top center and bottom of the engine valve to give
proper finishing to the edges.
Use fillet command to make better round shape of the valve
Use appearances toolbox to improve the texture and outlook of the body.

EXPERIMENT NO.8
Procedure
Draw a polygon with six edges and extrude it
Take a plane parallel to the extruded base and write the numbers you want to be
displayed on the clock
Use wrap command to wrap these numbers on the clock
Now select the face of the polygon and sketch the needles
Now extrude this sketch and clock is made.

EXPERTIMENT NO.9
Procedure
This lab session revolved around the learning of linear pattern technique.
First of all draw a single rectangle in any plane and extrude it to certain thickness
Now draw a certain design on the extruded base
Now use linear pattern command to form as many such parts as required
All of will have same dimensions and same design

EXPERIMENT NO .10
Procedure
A radiator cover was made by using simple procedures
Draw certain circles and extrude them to form the lower body of the part
Now take a plane to form the upper part of the body.
Draw a bigger circle and two small circles. Trim the smaller circles similarly on the both
sides and extrude them to meet with each other. Extrude the upper part to join with the
lower body and the part is completed.

EXPERIMENT NO. 11
Procedure
Draw circles of different radii. Extrude them one by one
Now draw a circle of certain radii at the center and cut extrude it through the body
Now flip the part and start sketching at its bottom face
Draw a circle at bottom and use circular command

EXPERIMENT NO.12
Procedure
Draw a sketch for gear. First of all draw a circle and then draw one tooth. Then use the
circular pattern command to increase the no. of teeth of the gear then use the extrude
command to make it of certain thickness.
Now draw multiple circles and extrude them according to the design of the given part. At
last draw a circle at the center and extrude cut it through the body.
Now at the upper surface draw some small polygon sketches and extrude them outward
Now flip the part and sketch on the bottom surface. Extrude a cylinder and extrude the
same polygons as you did on the upper surface.

EXPERIMENT NO.12
Procedure
First of all draw the vessel and extrude it
Now draw the base for vessel to be held on and design a system for the vessel to keep it
on that base
Now use Shell command so that the vessel is hollow from the inside
Use the dome command to make the bottom and top surface the vessel as round
Now design a tanker to put the vessel and its base upon
First of all install tires at the sides of the base of the vessel by using circles and extruding
them
Then make windscreen, lights and the front of the tanker
Extrude the sketches and apply appearances from the appearances toolbox.

EXPERIMENT NO.13
Procedure
Sketch the base of the mouse in any plane. Then use an arc to meet the both end points of
the base sketch. Now extrude it to get a circular type of shape for the mouse
Now on the extruded surface sketch the scroll button and a slot to give it better design.
Now extrude the mouse scroll button and cut extrude the slot behind it through the body.
Now draw a horizontal line on the top face of the mouse a little below and extrude cut it
through the body to get the required design
Now take a plane about the mouse and right what you want to be printed on the mouse
Use wrap command and get the required part.

EXPERIMENT NO.14
Procedure
Draw a rectangular sketch with sharp edges and extrude it. This forms the base of the
keyboard
Now draw a button like shape on the top face of the base and apply linear pattern
command to form rows of the most of the buttons.
Extrude these rows and get a layout of keys.
Some keys are of different sizes so sketch them separately and extrude them.
Apply colors to make the keyboard look better

Procedure
Use the spline tool to draw the curved part of the lever and at the end point draw a circle
Extrude this sketch
Now at the bottom of the sketch draw an oval and trim certain entities. Extrude this
shape. Draw a circle on the face of this extruded surface and cut extrude through the body
On the upper part of the lever draw a slot and extrude it to certain millimeters inside the
body.

EXPERIMENT NO.16
Procedure
Now we will deal with the assembly. In this lab session we discussed about a box
assembly.
First of all draw a square in Part window and extrude it. Draw 6 such parts.
Now drag these parts to the Assembly window.
Now use the Mate command to join these parts
Mate command will allow to join these parts perpendicularly, parallel, concentric, tangent
and inclined
By using different combinations you can join these parts and form an assembly.

Procedure
First of all we will draw a spring in the Part window
Draw an axis and a circle in same planes
Use sweep command and increase the number of revolutions to form a spring.
Extrude the sketch and spring is formed.
Now open another Part window and draw a cylinder
Draw an Assembly window and drag both parts in this window.
Now, draw central axis inside the spring and the cylinder and use Mate command to join
the parts
Make both parts concentric and circle is formed.

This lab session evolved around an evaluation as we were provided with a certain part
with particular dimensions.
First of all sketch the x-shape by the given dimensions and extrude it
Now take a plane at the above of the extruded area and draw the semi-circular hub and
extrude it.
Take another plan above it an draw a square adjacent to the hub and extrude it.
Take another plane above this square and draw a cylinder adjacent to this square and at
the top of this cylinder make another cylinder with a hole in it as shown in the part
Attach the circular hub with the sides of the part by sketching and extruding the certain
arrangement.
