Lesson Plan in Values Education for Grade 4

I. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lessons with 75% accuracy the pupils will be
able to:
1. Identify the day to day routine of a family;
2. Learn how to value family; and
3. To be a functional member of the family.
II. Subject Matter
a. Topic: Unification of Living a Happy Family
b. Materials: Visual Aids, Pictures
c. Reference: Google
III. Procedure:
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Prayer, Checking of attendance
2. Motivation
Game: Open the basket the basket, close the basket

B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation
After the motivation, I will asked some questions that is
related to what they did from the game. I relation to that I will
now begin discussing my topic which is all about the
Unification of Living a Happy Family.
2. Analysis and Discussion
2.1 The teacher introduces the topic to the students
2.2 The teacher informs the objectives of the topic to the
students
2.3 The teacher will discuss what is a family, importance of a
family, how can you help your family be strong and the
day to day routine in the family.
2.4 The teacher let the students ask questions
3. Generalization
The students will be able to have a unified family an apply
it on their own based from what they have learned.
C. Post Activities
1. Application
Activity 1
The teacher grouped the class into 3 groups and they will
present a role play about a family that live happily and how they
work at home in the household chores.
Activity 2

The teacher will show pictures that the students will


explain what the picture is all about.
2. Values Integration
1. Based from the discusion, what values can you apply in
your own learnings?
2. Do you have this activities in your family?

IV. Evaluation
Put check before the number if the statement tells a family
living happily and if not underline what makes it wrong.

1. Family going to church every Sunday.


2. Alma, the oldest child always surf the internet after eating dinner.
3. Mother and father attending night out with their colleagues.
4. Allan helps his father Tomas in fetching water and going to their
ricefield.
5. Shielas’ family went SM megamall when they have a free time.3.

V. Assignment

In a ¼ illustration board, make a slogan consisting 8 words that would


probably describe your parents. Explain it the next meeting.
