 Escort individuals or provide directions to necessary department in the hospital including surgical
area, medical building, diagnostic imaging, or woman’s health wing
 Worked with the nurses and other volunteers to ensure that patients were checked in for their
surgery and brought into their assigned room
 Greet and help family members of surgical patients with questions and answered the phones
Blanca’s House, Huntington NY — Member and Volunteer January 2013 - Present
● Completed a medical mission to Honduras - January 2017
○ Shadowed plastic surgeons nurses and assisted nurses in the pre-op and post-op settings.
○ Checked in patients, helped assist in taking vitals, giving IV’s, and scrubbing surgeries to
