MEDICAL ADVANCES IN ASTRONOMY

Imaging Technology

Accurate medical imaging can mean the difference between life and
death for many conditions — cancer therapies like chemotherapy and
radiation therapy,

Is a thermometer which infers temperature from a portion of the

thermal radiation sometimes called black-body radiation emitted by the object
being measured.

Is an artificial limb that replaces a legmissing above the knee.

Transfemoral amputees can have a very difficult time regaining normal
movement. In general, a transfemoral amputee must use approximately 80%
more energy to walk than a person with two whole legs.

Cloud computing
