Team presentation and individual reflections on leadership
This is a two-part assessment: Each part’s contribution to module mark is 20% (Total 40%)

Part 1)
A team presentation on an aspect of leadership chosen by your group. You need to provide
the name of the group member to you lecture by first week of March 2019. You must submit
the presentation in Power Points to the Ulearn before your presentation date. IF YOUR
PRESENATION IS ON W/C 11 MARCH YOU NEED TO SUBMITE MONDAY 11TH MARCH
BEFORE 10 AM OR IF IT IS W/C 25 MARCH YOU NEED TO USBMITE ON MODAY 25TH MARCH

Part 2)

A 1200-word individual summary and reflection on the topic and group processes involved in
preparing the presentation. You need to submit this part to the Unlearn by Monday 6th May
2019 before 10 AM

Part 1: Team Presentation


This assessment requires you to research and present on a particular aspect of leadership
working in a small team. You should organise yourself into a team of 4 (max 5) people for
preparing the presentation. All group member must contribute to the presentation and talk
for about 5 minutes. The presentation will be in the classroom. Dates are in your handbooks.
There will be a group mark unless there is a problem within the group.

Your presentation should be a clear, engaging and thoughtful introduction to a particular


aspect of leadership – for example challenges in a particular industry or sector, learning from
unusual cases and situations, requirements in particular roles or positions, crossing cultures
or countries, exploring different pathways to lead effectively. You can use examples from
leaders in Industry, political, social, etc.

Part 2: Individual Reflection

This is a 1200 words individual reflection.

A: First part (approximately 600 words) should be a summary in your own words of the key
points being made in your team presentation. You should provide a short overview and a
summary of the main points and conclusions that have been covered in the presentation.
(Please use in-text citations and references using the Harvard referencing style.

B: Second part (approximately 600 words) should reflect on the working process of
producing the group presentation. In this part you should provide a personal reflection of
your group activities detailing the challenges faced, lesson learned, knowledge acquired, and
the skills that you need to improvement in order to enhance future team work.
