These Children’s Literature Questions were created with the intent to help me understand

material in my current Children’s and Young Adult Literature Class. However, this content could
be used to teach a lesson about children’s literature. I would specifically use it for middle school
or high school because of the advanced material that is discussed and would be difficult for
younger children to comprehend. This lesson would go over what children’s literature is,
different awards for children’s books, and different components that make good written text and
illustrations.
I obtained pictures of the award medals with Google images. I conducted the fair use test to
make sure that these images were already in print, I was only using 10% of the content, it would
not hinder anyone’s ability to make a profit, and
