It is with great enthusiasm that I forward my resume for an Elementary Teaching position in your
district. As a compassionate and reflective educator, I strive to maximize student performance,
collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning. I would love the opportunity to facilitate evidence-based
and authentic teaching practices to access a variety of different learning styles as a teacher in your
school.

My experiences thus far have helped me to develop a love for many subjects, content areas, and a
range of grades and ability levels. I have had the pleasure and opportunity to immerse myself in a
variety of educational settings during my Student Teaching experience at William S. Covert School in
the Rockville Centre School District over the past school year. I anticipate earning my certification in
Childhood Education 1-6 and Early Childhood Education B-2, where I student taught in Kindergarten,
1st, and 4th Grade. Through this range of experience in varying grade levels, I have become proficient
at diverse approaches to learning, ensuring that my students are challenged and supported. Aligning
my lessons with the state standards, I infuse kinesthetic, visual, and auditory learning, coupled with
authentic teaching, discussions, and promoting real-life connections to the curriculum. Within my
planning, I differentiate and modify my instruction and assessments as needed, through scaffolds,
accommodations, intervention strategies, reinforcement, and instructing in whole class, small group,
and individualized learning.

I am committed to establishing a safe classroom environment engaging students through instruction

and curriculum, by developing an authentic and genuine relationship with my students signifying that
they are cared for and mutually respected. I am a firm believer that learning how to meet the needs of
each student is valuable and vital in establishing a classroom that is conducive to diversified learning.
Underlying in every academic lesson is the promotion of positive social behaviors, improvement of
self-esteem, and the capture of a child’s imagination. By attributing praise to effort rather than ability,
I celebrate all students’ academic accomplishments and milestones, motivating them to continue to
work hard and reach their highest potentials. Through my remarkable student teaching experience, I
have developed exemplary relationships with my students, colleagues, administration, and the
community, with an unwavering dedication and commitment to education. Teaching is more than my
profession – it is my calling.

As an empathetic and kindhearted educator, I demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing

student achievement academically, socially, and emotionally. I look so forward to this next step as a
