ILLUSTRATIVE RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Project Name: Transplant Analytics

Description: Performing nearly 200 organ transplants every year, the client is one of just
six in the US with its own hospital-based organ procurement program.
My primary contributions have been to:

Design SQL based models of SRTR (Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients) Post-
Transplant to calculate expected failures for different organs for different population and
donor using donor and recipient characteristics with dynamic structure.

Development of Tableau based tool with Drill-downs to evaluate program’s performance

and real time reporting for prompt actions using SQL as data source and ASP.net as user
interface.

Project Name: Payer Payment Data Mart

Description: To provide a view of Payments transactions for Encounters and related Payor
information that is integrated into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The data mart
supports DA2 Analysts and facilitates self-service reporting and analytics.

Perform this process on payments data from multiple sources- IDX and STAR. Recently,
added a new source - EPIC.

Project Name: Market Share

Description: Do analysis and load data on Market Share Advisory Universe on

quarterly basis. We get medical record from NC SC hospitals. Then load data into
Universe Tables which are used for report generating purpose by another team.

Now, we are working on enhancement of the project by adding some other hospitals
data provided by the client.

Project Name: Astellas Data and Subject Area Load

Description: Get raw data from multiple pharmaceutical units on local path or into S3
bucket. Prepare those data in an organized format and store them on HDFS on
Daily/Weekly/Monthly or Adhoc basis, scheduled using Oozie. For secure data load,
we use Podium.

On the HDFS data, we perform analysis work and write HIVE/PIG/IMPALA scripts to
load the hive SA tables which are used to generate reports.

Project Name: Pediatric Sepsis

Description: To automate the ability to identify patients that meet certain clinical criteria
by analyzing the data from Cerner and saving to Netezza table instead of exporting from
Business Objects monthly. It is Part of the Improving Pediatric Sepsis Outcomes (IPSO)

Project Name: Livewell

Description: The program gives financial incentive to teammates to understand key
biometric and lab values. Intent is to raise awareness, improve health, and lower costs of
the health plan.
Teammates who get their biometrics taken at a CHS Onsite Clinic will have those data
automatically passed to the Livewell vendor, Applied Health Analytics (AHA).

Description: HealthWorks provides employer healthcare solutions to help reduce
healthcare costs and improve employee health.
Employees who get their biometrics taken at City of Rock Hill Clinic will have those data

Project Name: Physician Opioid Scorecard
Description: Created a data mart to support opioid usage and prescribing behavior
reporting. The data mart stores key attributes of opioid prescriptions from the EMR to
enable self-service reporting.

Description: Migration of existing Material Resource Management mappings from
