USeP- BISLIG CAMPUS: AN APPROACH TO PALMETUM PROJECT”

Adviser: ROSALIE R. BASALO

This study was conducted at the vicinity of USeP- Bislig Campus. The
study aimed to introduce Anahaw as an approach to Palmetum project
with the following specific objectives:
1. To know the percentage survival rate of Anahaw (Saribus
rotundifolius Lam.) palm in USeP-Bislig Campus.
2. To assess the apical growth performance of Anahaw (Saribus
rotundifolius Lam.) palm in USeP-Bislig Campus.
3. To assess the lateral growth performance of Anahaw (Saribus
rotundifolius Lam.) in USeP-Bislig Campus.

The study was conducted with 20 seedlings which were observed


within the two (4) months. The result of the study revealed that out of the
20 wildlings, only 70% of it survived.

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

The author, DENNIS S. DALAPO was born on December 9, 1999 in


Purok 4 Urabangon. He is the fifth child among the six children of Mr.
Angelito G. Dalapo and Mrs. Dominga S. Dalapo. He is presently
residing at Purok 4 Bigaan, Hinatuan Surigao del Sur.

He finished his elementary education at Urabangon Elementary


School as a Third Honor. He spent his secondary education at Bigaan
National High School (BiNHScho) as a Salutatorian. He pursued his
tertiary education in the University of Southeastern Philippines- Bislig
Campus taking up Bachelor of Science in Forestry.

The author, CHARRIESE P. SALIGO was born on January 23,


1998 in Bislig City. She is the only children of Mr. Joselito A. Saligo
and Mrs. Jesyl P. Saligo. She is presently residing at Purok # 1 San
Roque, Bislig City.

She finished her elementary education at San Roque Central


Elementary School. She spent her secondary education at Maharlika
National High School. She pursued her tertiary education at University of
Southeastern Philippines- Bislig Campus taking up Bachelor of Science
in Forestry.

I would also like to give thanks to my sisters Catherine S. Dalapo

to my cousin, Manang Joanne Jabagat for expressing her support
