This Jura brew group refurbishing instruction guide does not suddenly
make anyone an instant expert. Please make notes of your own for
every step to separate the parts and wires. Tag the parts mark locations
and even take pictures after every three or four steps. We cannot
provide help for reassembling the brew group.
Refurbisjhing Jura Brew group is a precision work. Those who undertake this
project have to be experienced in mechanical work. No responsibility is
accepted for errors or damage to brew group or any injuries during repairs.
o
These instructions apply to all Jura brew groups. Although the drainage
.c
valve, located at the bottom of each group, may differ slightly based on the
espresso machine model, the fundamental structure and design of the all
the Jura brew groups are identical.

Jura does not sell parts. There are frustrated Jura owners
all over the World. The feedback below describes it well:
I am writing from Australia, as I own a Jura Impressa J5 machine that has
split the reinforced silicone hose joining the check valve down the bottom of
the machine to the thermoblock up the top right hand side of the machine.
As you would know Jura won't help me at all (they helped empty AU $2000
from my bank account when I purchased the machine), and won't even
discuss alternate options other than sending the machine to them with $500
so they can replace a $20 hose for me. Can you advise an alternate way of
fixing it, as I can access silicone hose the same size, but cant find reinforced
silicone that size anywhere in Australia. Look forward to your reply Regards,
Graham.

brew group. Take the flat head screw driver, preferably, the sharpest
edge, and insert between brew group side cover and brew group
below the green marked area on the picture above. Slightly push the
flat head screw driver upward to remove the side cover. Be careful
when removing the side cover for the red colored side as its hidden
and can be challenging.
