AMENDMENT
Sub: Standard rake size of BG wagons for grant of trainload rate benefit.
Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 03.12.2008
(Corrigendum No. 05 to Rates Circular No.25 of 2008)
1.0 In terms of Board’s letter of even number dated 03.12.2008 (Corrigendum No.5 to
Rates Circular No.25 of 2008), Annexure-II attached to Board’s letter of even number dated
13.06.2008 (Rates Circular No.25 of 2008) was revised.
2.0 As some discrepancies crept in while issuing the revised Annexure-II, it has been
decided to replace the Annexure-II issued vide letter under reference with the Annexure-II
enclosed herewith.
3.0 All other details of Corrigendum No.5 to Rates Circular No.25 of 2008 will remain
unchanged.
4.0 This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.

Note: * BOXN in Kulem-Castle Rock section 54 wagons permitted for trainload class rate
** The minimum number of wagons for Dalli rajhara – Bhilai section will be 45 wagons.
*** BFR and BRH wagons may be treated as one type and BOX as another type for reckoning the minimum
10 number of each type.
**** BRN, BRNA, BFNS and BOST may be treated as one type and BOXN as other type for reckoning the
minimum 10 number of each type
***** BRN, BRNA and BFNS may be treated as one type and BOST as other type for reckoning the
minimum 10 number of each type.
******Indents for Block Rake of BCN/BCNA/BCNAHS/BCXN will be accepted for 43 wagons (eight
wheelers) against which empty rakes of any type of these types or a combination of these types of
wagons will be supplied in terms of the standard rake size of these wagons.
@ For TNPM siding of IOC, standard rake size of tank wagons (4-wheeler) is 65 wagons and
minimum number of wagons required to be loaded for availing trainload rate benefit is 64 wagons.
