QC Games Shutting Down Operations

QC Games recently announced that they are shutting down operations. So what does this mean
for Breach?
Well, we are not sure about a whole lot. What we are sure about is:

 Servers are remaining online for now.

 Today, April 4, the servers will go down temporarily for maintenance. During this
maintenance period we will be turning off the ability to purchase starter packs and in-
game QC points.
 Servers will be back online shortly after this maintenance period is over and will remain
online until further notice.
 More information will come.
We know this comes as a shock to just about everyone as up until two days ago, we were still
releasing new content (including our dance off battles) so we understand any confusion.
Two weeks ago CEO, Dallas Dickinson, was asked about whether Breach would eventually be
brought to consoles and off of just the PC platform to which he replied that yes it is in the plans
to eventually bring the game to console but as to when that will happen, it is unsure. Now we
are even more unsure than before of when, if at all, Breach will be brought to consoles.

Why is QC Games shutting down?

As to why QC Games is shutting down, there isn’t a lot of information that has been released
yet. All we can really disclose at the moment is that there were some issues within the company
and we decided collectively that it was best to end operations.
We are not ready to release all the details, but just know that we are still talking about the future
of Breach and will take lots of consideration into the future of the accounts already created and
anyone looking to play our game in the future.
Breach is QC Games’ only title out and is our biggest concern. We want to keep our fans in the
know and just lastly want to thank you again for all the love and support we have gotten
throughout this journey.
We hope you keep enjoying our game and we hope to be able to give more information to you
soon.
Until then, game on gamers.
Blog 2:

Hey all!
Today we wanted to talk about our work with PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds (also known as
PUBG). We have gotten a lot of people asking about how we worked specifically with PUBG
and what we did for the game so we thought we’d tell everyone a little bit about it.
PUBG is a battle royale mode where players dive into the map and scavenge for weapons to
use and eliminate all other players to be the last player standing. The game took off originally
and rivaled Fortnite in popularity. The main difference between the two games are PUBG’s
realistic style of play compared to Fortnite.
PUBG launched on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Mobile. Each different platform launches a new
challenge for players and creates a different challenge and play style to explore.
PUBG peaked at over 3.2 million different players at one time and more than 15 million different
players all-time. We specifically worked during the alpha stages of the game, developing and
executing a communications strategy including first party advisement, media and influencer
relations.
At E3 2017, Reverb managed all media opportunities for Brendan Green and the Bluehole
executive team during the game’s Xbox Exclusive announcement.
In tandem with our events partner, we managed the E3 mixer, hosting Twitch and YouTube
content creators.
In addition to that, Reverb worked with PC Gamer on a cover story, unveiling the highly
anticipated desert map (below).
Overall, we are very happy and proud of the work we did on such a successful game. Bluehole
and cool bear games were excellent organizations to work with and we wish them nothing but
more success in their future endeavors with not only PUBG, but any other games that are
developed by these amazing companies.
