Assignment Title:Q3 End of Unit Macbeth Theme in Society

Student Writing Goal: Get a decent Grade.

Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.
What was the purpose of this writing assignment?
The purpose of this writing assignment was to compare Macbeth to something that we still see in society
today. For example I chose blind ambition to show how some of the leaders of the world. Macbeth has
different types of characteristics just like many different people use today.

How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I performed pretty good I got a 95 out of 100. Compared to many of my other essay’s I didn’t forget commas
as much, I probably did like once or twice. Every mistake was simple and were pretty quick to fix. I had to
add a few things to relate my topic a little bit more to the topic.

What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I did well in the topic. I felt very confident when I was writing this topic, I was very passionate about it. I
could have kept talking about it for days. Also I am happy with the examples and the citations I used to prove
my point. “He burned a woman for asking him too many questions.” The articles get the point across.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I have revised this essay which was very easy to do. Considering the mistakes were simple and easy. Just a
few citation mistakes. I read throughly to make sure all my words I chose made sense. I also chose good
transition words for the sentences that I added on.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I will get more knowledge and use better transition words. The transition words are a part where I really
struggle. To be able to do this is just practice my writing which is something I always wanted to get better at.
To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I succeeded because I got higher score than my last one just by reflecting on all of them. Ever since my first
essay I feel like I have been improving. These reflection sheets are helping point out my common mistakes.
