The researchers’ gathered data was analysed and interpreted by the graph above. The
duration of hours that the Grade 12 students used gadgets is 58% which means they used gadgets
for 4-6 hours, 17% for 1-3 hours, 15% for 10 hours and above and lastly 10% is 7-9 hours. In this
graph, it shows that the Grade 12 students used gadgets for 4-6 long hours.

The researchers conduct a survey about the benefits of using gadgets, the highest percent that
they use is 34% to improve their communication skills and 34% for the getting more information, while
the third is 29% for being aware from different social issues, 2% for improving their critical thinking.

percent that the researchers compute is 46% answered all of the above . 20% states it changes
someones belief,culture and opinion. While 17% it became their hobby, the last one is 17% who said
the we forget the problems and we tend to express through gadgets.

entertained by the pictures, issues and ideas that we had saw. And another 20% answered it because

CHAPTER V

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presents the summary of academic research work from the Senior High Students of
Southgate Institute of Malvar, the conclusion drawn from the answer in the survey questionnaires gives to them
and recommendations made as an outgrowth of the study about the effect of gadgets in academic performance
of the Senior High School Students of Southgate Institute of Malvar.

Conclusion

The collected data came from grade 12 students which is 41 respondents with the ages 18 with 20 male and
21 females who answered the survey questionnaire.

To improve more their skill in Academic Performance the best way they’ve choose with the half of them
says that it can helps the gadgets to their academic performance. The rest of the respondents is through focusing
on not satisfying, that gadgets can affect to their academic performance.

The things that can improve their academic performance almost half of them says that followed by through
focus on gadgets then searching to internet and the last is through reading books. Therefore after gathering and
interpreting the data we conclude that there is positive correlation between gadgets to the academic
performance. And conclude the things they needed to improve and how will become motivated on academic
performances.
