Rate Reduction Loyalty Program for MY20
GLE SUV: -2.0% rate loyalty reduction now applies to MY20.

With Quarter 2 underway, we would like to take a moment to thank you for supporting the first National 3 Day Sales Event of the year.
For May National Certified Pre-Owned will continue to offer an introductory rate of 0.9% for 24 months on all MY15–18 Mercedes-
Benz. We are very excited to continue our 0.9% rate to 60 months on MY16 C300 sedan, MY16 GLC300 SUV & MY17 GLC300 SUV.

In the month of May, we will begin to see the first Sprinter gasoline and 15-seater models arriving at dealers. This is an
additional opportunity to continue to build on the spring sales momentum and traffic. As previously communicated, we
are excited that Sprinter 4X4 production has also begun and we will continue to work with the dealer network to
prioritize sold orders. We must continue leveraging all opportunities within the marketplace – contacting maturing
customers, utilizing on-ground inventory, presenting all programs and more.
All core national programs remain unchanged from April to May. We will continue the reduced MBFS lease and finance
rates at 1.99% on the Metris Cargo and 2.99% on the Metris Passenger for the Dealer Fleet channel. Furthermore, the
Sprinter Market Introduction Vehicles (MIV) cash support of $1,000 remains for May. Many of these programs are
stackable with other offers, please ensure you are fully utilizing all sales programs within your region to close the sale.

must submit an Executive Car Allowance Program Application AND a copy of the Consultant’s
business card or paystub (no declaration required). Once approved, RDR as a Tier 2 with the
correct FAN provided, and submit a manual claim in DFE for the remaining fleet support (difference
between Tier 1 and 2).

For Employee Choice Vehicles if the odometer reading at the time of a customer sale exceeds 15,000 km, the
kilometrage must be within 200 kms of the odometer reading at time the vehicle was purchased from DPP+. For
example, an Employee Choice vehicle purchased with 15,200 km is permitted to have a maximum of 15,400 km at
time of customer sale. Vehicles with an odometer reading at the time of delivery over 5,000 km require an upfront
residual value adjustment. See Monthly Sales Program for residual value adjustment information.
Vehicle Lease Return Process – Winter Tires
At lease maturity, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) customers may return their leased vehicles with
winter tires between the months of October - April as long as the original (or equivalent) set of tires (typically

summer or all-season) and rims are returned as well. During this time, the $120 tire replacement charge will
not be applicable.
The original (or equivalent) tires must have at least .32 cm (4/32”) of tread depth remaining at the greatest
wear point in order to avoid excess wear & tear charges.
Failure to return the original (or equivalent) tires and rims will result in excess wear & tear charges in any case
(including customers with First Class Lease Protection coverage).
In cases in which the original (or equivalent) tires and rims are returned, First Class Lease Protection (FCLP)
coverage will be applied to eligible wear & tear charges arising from tires, subject to FCLP coverage limits.
New or pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles that were manufactured for the distribution and sale in the United
States of America are not eligible for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Canada lease and finance programs.

Lease
All Open-End Lease rates are 0.50% higher than the stated Closed-End Lease rate for the corresponding term.
Open-End Lease residual value percentages are the same as Closed-End Lease residual value percentages for the
corresponding term. (Open-End Lease is available for commercial customers only).
Mercedes-Benz residuals are based on 24,000 km/yr and smart residuals are based on 18,000 km/yr.
A standard security deposit equal to the lease payment (including taxes) rounded up to the next $50 is required for
Closed-End leases unless First Class Lease Protection is purchased.
A specific security deposit amount may also be required as a condition of credit approval.
Demonstrator Vehicles
Demonstrators with an odometer reading between 5,000 km and 15,000 km require an up-front residual value
adjustment based on the total odometer reading at the time of delivery (i.e. the required adjustment is retroactive
from 0 kilometres).
Reduce the residual value by the appropriate amount as indicated in the charts.
Demonstrators with an odometer reading below 5,000 km require no adjustment.
Demonstrators with an odometer reading above 15,000 km require the use of Pre-Owned rates and residual values.
Demonstrators with an odometer reading below 15,000 km (and New Vehicles) require the use of New Vehicle
Rates and Residual Values (Demonstrators with an odometer reading between 5,000 km and 15,000 km require an

Corporate The Corporate Fleet program is geared towards company purchased and managed vehicles. These
Fleet vehicles are purchased by the corporation or a commercial leasing company and then provided to
the employee to conduct company business.

In cases where the vehicle is purchased by a commercial leasing company, the plate
portion of the ownership must be registered under the approved company name
In cases where the company name is a numbered company, please provide an operating
name

Certified Program
$400 flat registration fee for all CPO sales
A pre-owned Mercedes-Benz that is eligible for this program and count towards the dealer sales target is one that has been
previously sold to a retail customer (and RDR’d as such) who has used the vehicle for their own use for a period of time
(generally 36 months) and has now returned it at the end of their lease and the Retailer has purchased it from the remarketing
channel or taken it in on trade. A current model year (2019) courtesy vehicle or demonstrator may comply if it has been on the
road for a minimum of 6 months from the original RDR date and a minimum mileage of 3,000 kilometres. A past model year
(2018) vehicle must be on the road for a minimum of 3 months from the original RDR date and a minimum mileage of 3,000
kilometres. Model year is based on Calendar Year. Retailers can only RDR pre owned sales units if the cars are 6 model years or
newer (i.e. MY 2014 and up).
Pre-owned units sold to wholesalers or re-sellers and book deals or accommodation sales, cannot be RDR’d. Vehicles need to be
sold to a retail customer in order to count as retail delivery. Vehicles cannot be RDR'd under the dealership name or related
companies. Such transactions are deemed to be wholesale. Any wholesale transaction, which is RDR'd as retail delivery, will be
charged $400 administration fee and immediately cancelled.
Dealers that RDR demonstrators / courtesy vehicles as a pre-owned sale that do not fall under this category will be charged
automatically in the system the $400 fee, but will not be paid bonus or count towards their Certified Sales target. The dealer
simply needs to update the customer info into the system if it is not a Certified Vehicle sale and an RDR is not required.
Dealers are not allowed to purchase maturing vehicles in the remarketing Channel with intent to sell back to the original lessee.
Transactions, in which retailers are paying referral fees to wholesalers or re-sellers in order to RDR vehicles, OR selling vehicles
from outside vendors using CPO rates and warranty, are strictly prohibited. If any of above mentioned violations apply, the RDR
will be reversed and the cost of the full subvention will be charged back to the retailer.
The CPO Program utilization is subject to audits through National Pre-owned Department.
Maturing customers exercising their right to purchase their vehicle at residual value cannot be RDR’d and the transaction does
not count towards the sales achievement regardless if there is a warranty or not.

MERCEDES-BENZ VANS:
Lease
MY 2014 - 2019: Maximum open-end lease residual values are calculated based on published percentages of the
selling price of the Mercedes-Benz Van and are subject to Retail Credit approval. If the selling price exceeds 115%
of Black Book extra clean value, the residual values must be calculated based on the Black Book extra clean value.
Older Mercedes-Benz Vans MYs: Maximum open-end lease residual value is $500 and residuals are subject to
adjustment by the Retail Credit Department based on credit application details.
Retail Finance
Maximum Advance - Amount to finance is the selling price not exceeding the maximum of 115% of Black Book extra
clean value. Applicable taxes, F&I products, and the cost of ELW and SCW can be added onto the maximum advance
amount.
MY 2012 & 2013 Vans: Star Advantage maximum final payment amount is $500 and final payment amounts are
subject to adjustment by the Retail Credit Department based on credit application details.
PASSENGER CARS:

The Lease Pull Ahead Program is effective until December 31, 2019 and offers the following:
Eligible Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Lessees: smart and all Mercedes-Benz passenger car MBFS customers (all models)

Existing Mercedes-Benz customers must take delivery of a new or demonstrator Mercedes-Benz vehicle by December 31,

it in the contract package.
Mercedes-Benz Vans Customer Eligibility:
o To be eligible, a cash purchase customer must currently own or be a lessee of a new or pre-owned
Mercedes-Benz passenger car, new or pre-owned smart vehicle or new or pre-owned Mercedes-Benz Van and
will be leasing or financing a new/demonstrator Mercedes-Benz Van with MBFS.

Rollover Kilometres Program
The Rollover Kilometres Program is effective until December 31, 2019 and offers the following:
Customers can roll over unused kilometers to their next lease of a new Mercedes-Benz or smart vehicle when financed
through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.
Scheduled First Class Lease maturities occurring between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019.
Applicable for full-term contracts only (i.e. where all lease payments and obligations have been paid).
Lease Pull Ahead and Employee Lease customers are not eligible for the Rollover Kilometres program.
Up to a maximum of 5,000 additional (previously unused) kilometres can be carried over and added on to a Lease
Contract for any new Mercedes-Benz or smart vehicle where a customer signs a contract for the same kilometrage or
higher. For example from a standard kilometre lease to a standard kilometre lease, or from a standard kilometre lease to
a high kilometre lease.
Rollover Kilometres do not apply in the following instances:
- High kilometre lease to a Standard, Low or Lower kilometre lease
- Standard kilometre lease to a Low or Lower kilometre lease
- Low kilometre lease to a Lower kilometre lease
- Unused purchased kilometres (since the customer is already being refunded for these)
Guidelines for Lease Contracts With Rollover Kilometres
Previous lease vehicle must be grounded with completed / signed condition report and VRR (Vehicle Return Receipt) and
copies must be submitted to MBFS in the new lease contract document package.
Clearly indicate that this is a Rollover Kilometres contract in the Dealer Comments of the Credit Application in
MBAdvantage.
New Lease contract must be dated within 30 days of grounding of previous lease vehicle.
Customers may purchase additional kilometres on their new Lease contract (on top of Rollover kilometres) to increase
overall allowed kilometres, if desired.
Original customer only (i.e. non transferable).
Easy Two Step Rollover Kilometres Calculation Process
1. Subtract kilometres at grounding from maximum allowed kilometres shown on the maturing lease contract, excluding
any purchased kilometres (see above).
2. Add “Rollover Kilometres” (to a maximum of 5,000) to the Standard kilometre maximum on new First Class Lease
contract.
