eu on Mi 9
MIUI is the default ROM running on every Xiaomi device except the Android
One devices such as Mi A1, Mi A2, etc. Basically, MIUI is a skinned version of
Android OS.
Xiaomi developers team rebuild the ROM with unique design, key features,
and tweaked performance. MIUI is available in two builds: China and Global.
MIUI China ROM has no Google Apps and no multi languages. Users can only
choose between Chinese and English. On the other hand, its Global build has
the two drawbacks.
Nevertheless, there are still a number of Mi Fans having their Xiaomi phones
directly from China. There are many online stores offering Xiaomi devices
shipped directly from mainland China. Banggood, Gearbest, and Alibaba are
just a few examples.
The nonexistence of Play Store and other country languages become the main
problems. There is where Xiaomi.eu comes in.
Xiaomi.eu is no different with the official MIUI ROM. It is built based on MIUI
China Stable and Beta builds. It eliminates the drawbacks and adds some
functionalities not available in the official build.
Of course it has Play Store and some basic Google Apps to save your day.
On top of that, Xiaomi.eu also has multiple languages to choose.
The best part of it that we really like is the modded Themes app. Normally,
you won’t be able to install custom MIUI themes downloaded from third-
parties. Unless you have a verified Xiaomi Designer account.
The case is different with Xiaomi.eu. You can import any themes .mtz file easily
from the built-in Themes app.
