Op-Ed Letter

Dear Professor Stoltman,

One topic that affects everyone on the planet is the act of protecting the environment.

One act of helping protect the environment falls within recycling. During this letter I will talk

about my chosen topic of recycling and why every person should be well aware of how to

recycle along with following through and actually doing it.

I am writing because this is an issue that will eventually affect everybody who lives on

planet earth and the issue only gets bigger over time. The issue of recycling will eventually catch

up to the dwellers on earth and if people wait to address the problem, then it will be too late. This

letter is to address the topic I wish to write about and the topic I wish to pursue in the Op-ed that

is to be written for class. I could publish this piece in any newspaper specifically eco-friendly

newspapers.

In summary, recycling is an action everyone on earth needs to take because if we wait too

long it will be too late. We as the habitants of earth cannot let it become too late.
