Your Own Videography

In this part of the course, it’s time to participate. You are going to tell your autobiography
through a video. The idea is to practice your English as much as possible, and of course to
know you a little bit more. Let’s do it! Follow all the steps and remember to do your best.

Step 1
Introduce yourself

Product: Scene 1- Your silhouette- Gallery presentation

Procedure:

2. Draw your silhouette in the paper.
3. Indicate: You can only use pictures

Record your gallery: Present your work. Don’t forget to talk about as many details as
possible.

Step 2
Genealogy Family Tree

Product- Scene 2- Photo Gallery- presentation

Procedure:
1. Listen to this audio about family relationships: http://www.esl-
lab.com/family1/fam1.htm and answer the questions.
2. Based on the aspects this audio presents, do your family tree. Use photos to support.
3. Then, describe your family physical characteristics. What physical traits did you get
from your mother or father?
4. Describe also their personality. What personality traits did you get with your
family?
5. Explain also what are the activities do you do with your family?
6. Ask to your father, mother and grandparents if it is possible, how were their lives?
What games did they play? Then, compare with the life you live now.

Finally, record your photo gallery. Don’t forget to speak as much as possible.

Step 3: What our parents were and What I am now


Product-scene 3: Radio show

1. Identify the characteristics of childhood in Industrial Revolution:

2. Then, discuss the photos of the exhibition: “Los niños que fuimos”
3. Then, socialize the differences between the life of your parents and your life.
4. Record a radio show, presenting these differences.

Step 4: My neighborhood

2. Then, practice it, saying and pronouncing
3. Finally, record a video where you present your neighborhood, how many years have
you lived there and what do you remember about it?

Step 5: The story of my life

Product-scene: Story video

1. Create a character to tell the story of your life


2. Organize the scenes you are going to tell
3. Then, look up for the vocabulary you need and practice your pronunciation.
4. Finally, record your story and make your own video. Include pictures, music, and
everything you need for make it interesting.
