Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
 sentences and draw lines to the matching pictures.
 talk about classroom objects using fixed phrases.

Activities
Pre-Lesson : 1. Display the flashcards on the board.
2. Elicit what the objects are.
3. Draw one of the objects in a corner of the board, hiding it so students cannot see.
4. Pupils have three guesses. They ask, e.g. Is it a bag? You respond.
5. The pupil who guesses does the next drawing.
Repeat four or five times
Lesson Development : 1. Distribute worksheets.
2. Tell pupils to look carefully at the objects on the desks.
3. Make sure pupils know what to do.
4. Read the instructions aloud.
5. Play the recording. Pupils listen and draw the lines.
6. Pupils compare their answers in pair.
7. Play the recording again before the class check.
8. Distribute worksheets.
9. Pupils look at the pictures and read the sentences.
10. Pupils colour the correct sentences yellow and colour the incorrect sentences green.
Check and discuss.
Post-Lesson : 1. Give pupils speaking practice through a chain game
2. Start the chain by saying, e.g. This is my desk. There’s a bag.
3. Pupil A says, e.g. This is my desk. There’s a bag and a pencil.
4. Pupil B says, e.g. This is my desk. There’s a bag, a pencil and a hat.
5. Continue until there are about four objects in the chain.
Then start a new chain.
