Description of artifact/assignment:
It is a photograph that i took in photography class.

Why did you choose this as one of your artifacts/assignments?

I chose this artifact because it took a lot of practice to get the skills I have now in photography. It
shows how much I have improved in this class

What academic skills did you use that are specific to this artifact/assignment?

I used comfort with diversity for this artifact because I had to get more comfortable using the
camera and all the different settings it has. It was my first year taking a photography class so I
had a lot to learn.

What general academic skills did you use (skills that would be used in any academic class)?

I had to be very attentive and good listener because there are many ways you could change the
settings on a camera.

Did you see growth in your targeted soft skills through the course of working on this
Artifact/Assignment? Explain.

Yes because, I started using techniques that were new to me so I had to get comfortable with
them. It took a lot of trial and error to get used to those techniques. I also had to take the
feedback my teacher gave me and implement the ideas she was giving me.

Provide an example of how these academic and/or soft skills are used in a career in which you
are interested.

These skills are used because you have to be comfortable with trying new things in order to get a
better product. You can try new techniques on the plants because you want to produce as much
as you can.
