After the daycare closed, I spent my last week at Clark Elementary. The school had been
kind in letting me go there, and I really enjoyed being among the students and staff. I actually
went the following Monday (May 6) as well because I still had a few hours to get in before
making the required amount of 150, so that date has been included above. Also, I received a
schedule of the different classes that I would be in, which would allow me to be in preschool

My favorite activity this week was when I did my homophone lesson with the second
graders. I was nervous in the moments leading up to it. I wasn’t certain if the kids would like the

learned so much about planification, and also about not worrying so much about things going th
exact way that they are expected to. Being in the classes made me realize how much I like
teaching, and what I can do to improve myself. When I did my bulletin board, I went with that
theme as a sort of thanks to the teachers that welcomed me into their classroom so that I could
learn from them. Teaching is the profession that leads to all other professions, and they help
children gain skills that they will use their entire lives. Being in Clark Elementary was an
